Kingdom Hearts Does anyone think Shadow Sora should have had a bigger impact?

Not to revive a dead thread, but in KH2 didn't it say somewhere that only the heartless Xehanort made had emblems?

And yes, the dark sora could've been more important. Was there a point to Darkside anyway? Is he like Cubia or something?

 

I think that Shadow Sora was there to reveal how strong Riku's dark powers were. I also think that Riku wanted to show how evil Sora was to keep her away from Kairi.

 

Shadow Sora didn't need much of a role. I mean, it's just Sora's shadow. As said before, it was just Riku showing of his dark powers, and wasn't really needed after that.

Yea, actually I think there could have been more to Shadow Sora. Not so much drama, but he could have been at least a harder boss.

I saw Shadow Sora as an equal than found out he's weak ¬_¬

 

It should've been Riku bring out Sora's inner darkness instead of him showing off.
And it would make Sora so much more stronger if he defeated it

 

It would of also been more effective if it could do dark versions of Spells. e.g. Dark Fira. Dark Blizzara. Dark Aerora.

 

As much as I would had initially loved the idea of a Shadow Sora much like Sephiroth is to Cloud or Dark Samus to Samus in Metroid Prime, I would not had like it much.

Sora isn't really the guy who would turn to the darkness. He's much too nice for his own good.

"You're not ready for Soul Eater" -quotes Riku in KHII to Sora.

Foreshadowing much?

 

It would have been fun if it had had a bigger impact. I'm sure they could have done more with it. Give a Shadow Donald and Goofy, maybe King Mickey. Maybe they could have given the Shadow Sora dark versions of Sora's Keyblades? Dark spells would work good too.

 

Does anyone really know what Shadow Sora (or Antisora, I've heard it called) really is?

I don't think Riku had the power to just create a Heartless, so what was it? There was a whole possibility of the Disney villains and other people making shadow people like that...

 

From what I saw, Shadow Sora was basically a smaller Darkside.
He did return as a form, though.

 

Nah, Shadow Sora was just kinda there to bug ya till ya destroyed him. There could be something following up on that in KHIII.
