Kingdom Hearts Does anyone on this site even Sora is a great character?

Seriously, it seems like everyone here hates the poor dude.

 

I personally don't hate him. Yeah he's pretty one-dimensional and goes through practically zero character development but nevertheless, his character in itself is cute and likeable.

Though I guess I can see how his happy-go-****** attitude can eventually drive a few batshit insane.

 

I like him ^^

I mean, sure, he is a naive, pushy, skinny, childish, no-good flowerpot.

But still, I really like him.

Anyway, he's okay, but not really such a great character in terms of personality.

 

I don't know if he was that great of a character as far as character growth, but I don't hate him...

surprisingly he has a lot of fangirls. Me I don't hate him, but every now and then I think he can be really lame.

 

I like him! I mean, come on, he's pretty darn adorable.

So he's a little naive... it's a Disney game, what did you expect??

 

Ya, i mean what would he be like in a PG-13 game or even an M game...that would prabebly change some things around....like his antics or personality....i don't know....

Hate is such a strong word. I pefer to say he isn't the best example of a hero. He is a little slow on somethings and acts like a little kid at odd times.

 

Sora...interesting guy..though not my fav. Its not that i hate him. Simply have more interests in other characters....for example *points to username* Roxas! :D

 

Of course. He's my favorite character and anyways a lot of the quizzes i take say I'm most like him so if i hate him it's almost liek hating myself LOL

 

Well, I happen to adore him. Sora's probably my favorite character in the whole game, at the top of the list. He's really adorable, and his naivety makes him seem more cute in my eyes. But he has a strong sense of justice and has a lot of courage. Sora is just...Sora, and that's what I like about him.

 

I really like Sora. He is childish in a lot of ways, but he has a very caring personality. His optimism is also nice at times (though annoying at a few spots). Plus, he's so adorable...how can you not at least like him? He is one of my favorite characters in the game, and that will never change.

 

He only bothers me in Kingdom Hearts II. In the first KH, he was a pretty good well-rounded character.

Then he got older and just seemed really stupid to me.​

 

No I dont hate him. He's likable and tolerable.

 

I like him. He is the main character after all.

 

Like every SE character, he has the personality of sandpaper. Nonetheless, he is quite entertaining.

If Goofy is smarter than you... That's just depressing. Overall, his stupidity is fun to watch. So no, I don't hate him (the only character in any video game I can truly hate is Tidus).
Also, its notable that he could get away with being obnoxiously childish and slow in the first because, well, he's a kid. In Kh2, he's nearly in his 20's, and hasn't gotten any smarter. AT ALL.
