I almost lost it at the scene with the graveyard -_- I couldn't believe that's how it ended.

After everything the Doctor's been through with Amy and Rory, to end like that was just awful. Though I suppose it had to end sometime . . . but what about all their family. Rory's dad, and everyone else. Would they just be fine with Amy and Rory disappearing there? That was sort of an unfair ending and it had some holes, like what happened next. Did the Doctor explain what happened, or did River, or did the family's just live on not ever knowing what happened to Amy and Rory?

I don't know about everyone else. As for Rory's dad:

I love you so much right now. Marry me?

That was the most beautiful thing i've ever seen, and I feel less heartbroken over the ending now. I don't think that could have been set up better, even if it was shot as a real clip, it would have to be played out the exact same way because I almost cried. My heart is mended.

One of the episodes for Series 7.2 is reported to be called Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS, and will take place exclusively inside of the TARDIS.

And while you're all here, have a promo pic for the Christmas special:

So I can't wait to watch the christmas special now. Thank you for giving me something to look forward to lol

Just the idea of the Doctor being retired is a paradox, and no one loves a paradox . . . well, except the Doctor.

    SO EXCITED.
I read somewhere that Matt Smith says Oswin is the Doctor's new friend, or "so he thinks." I'm not sure she's entirely innocent--though I'm not sure she knows it. It's similar to the Romans in The Pandorica Opens--they believe their own cover story. First she was helping the Doctor, thinking she was really, only to discover she was a Dalek. In this trailer, it seems she is fueling the Snowmen.

I think we can draw an interesting parallel to Amy here, but Amy was always used positively. It seems this power Oswin has is bringing ruin--maybe the Doctor brings her with him so he can stop what she's bringing? idk. ideas. I really like what I've seen of her so far, really excited.

I've read quite a lot today about the Christmas special including:

The TARDIS interior will get a new look
    [IMG]

    • "Pond is key to the story"
    • Jenna and Matt have great chemistry (so nothing to fear there)
    • It features a named guest star but you never see them
    • There will be some huge moments that will hit "hard and fast"
    • It plays some tribute to "Sherlock" (but this is probably more the idea that the characters are acting as detectives)
    • There will be a twist at the end
    • The Doctor's clothes change throughout and have become more victorianised (but you can clearly see this from pictures and the trailer)

Ian McKellan (aka Gandalf/Magneto) will be voicing the snowmen in the Christmas special:

Also, I looked at the pic of the updated TARDIS interior. It looks cool (has a Gallifreyian feel to it), but the "coral" interior from Series 1- The End of Time will always be my favorite interior.

...I don't know that I like the looks of the TARDIS's new desktop theme. :/

This is a little old, but someone's put together a tentative list of all the series 7 episodes; I've typed it here for convenience, in addition to including prior episodes and other tidbits:

7.01 - Asylum of the Daleks
    7.02 - Dinosaurs On A Spaceship
    7.03 - A Town Called Mercy
7.04 - The Power of Three
7.05 - The Angels Take Manhattan
Christmas Special 2012 - The Snowmen
    • Christmas Eve 1892 and the falling snow is the stuff of fairy-tales. When the fairy-tale becomes a nightmare and a chilling menace threatens Earth, an unorthodox young governess, Clara, calls on the Doctor for help. But the Doctor is in mourning, reclusive and determined not to engage in the problems of the universe. As old friends return, will the Doctor really abandon humankind or will he fight to save the world – and Christmas – from the icy clutches of this mysterious menace.
    • Introduction of new companion, Clara (reported by some sources as Clara Oswin)
    • New TARDIS interior
    • Pays tributes to Sherlock Holmes and A Game of Thrones
    • Features unseen, yet named guest star
    • Features Madame Vastra, Jenny, and Strax, as previously seen in "A Good Man Goes to War" and "The Great Detective"
    • Richard E. Grant, previously the actor for two different non-canon Doctors, guest stars as the main villain, Doctor Simeon.
    • Tom Ward guest stars as another villain
    • Ian McKellen voices the Snowmen
    • The Snowmen are not the only monsters to appear
    • Has a twist ending (surprise!)
7.06 - The Bells of Saint John
    • [picture]
    • Series 7 Part 2 opener
    • The 2013 opener is set on present day Earth with the main plot centred around “something living in the wifi” which is feeding on humans. This “sentient Twitter” as the Doctor puts it, harvests human minds and also has the power to project an image from your subconscious.
7.07 - The Rings of Akhaten
    • Possibly pointing to another Egyptian theme. “Akhenaten” was an Egyptian Pharaoh and the husband of Queen Nefertiti. However, filming reports from the episode reveal that some of the story is set in the 1980′s.
    7.08 - The Cold War
    • Described as a “base under-siege” episode involving lots of water. Rumored deep sea adventure set on a submarine. Rumored the Ice warriors will return.
7.09 - The Hider in the House or Phantoms of the Hex
    • [picture]
    • The story appears to be another historical.
    • I have no idea if the OP meant that that was the full episode title, or that it's either "The Hider in the House" or "Phantoms of the Hex"
7.10 - Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS
    • Title states it perfectly, a story all about The TARDIS.
    • We see more of the TARDIS than ever before in this episode
    7.11 - The Crimson Horror
    • [picture]
    • The episode is set in a strange 19th century village called Sweetville. The Doctor investigates when people start going missing in a factory that is run by the mysterious Winifred Gillyflower.
    • Madame Vastra, Jenny, and Strax appear yet again in this episode
    7.12 - The Last Cyberman
    • [pictures 1, 2]
    • Redesigned Cybermen are featured
    • The Doctor's old tweed suit makes a return
    • Part of the story occurs in an abandoned theme park called Hedgewick's World
    • Warwick Davis, Jason Watkins, and Tamzin Outhwaite all appear as members of a ragtag band of misfits
    • Will Merrick also guest stars in an unknown role
    7.13 - [title unkown]
    • Series 7 finale
    • Steven Moffat writes it

its s the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who very soon
I would like to see something with all the doctors but that's impossible since 1 2 and 3 died
I'm still watching classic who (1st doctor) until Christmas
last week bought the 5 doctors on dvd and im so happy i did

Second doctor to the third Doctor : "Goodbye fancypants"
    Third Doctor : "Scarecrow"

Second Doctor: Have faith, Brigadier. Have I ever led you astray?
    Brigadier: On many occasions.
Second Doctor: Yes, well, this will be the exception.

Second Doctor: So, you're the latest model?
Fifth Doctor: Yes, and the most agreeable.
Second Doctor: Well, certainly the most impudent.
Third Doctor: And our dress code hasn't improved much, has it?
    First Doctor: Neither our manners.

    HAHAHAHAH

That would be nice to see 9, 10, and 11 get together. Simply because they all have different personalities. It would be quite interesting to see how they react to one another. Would they instantly know it was them, or would they not know each other? 11 would know 9 and 10. 10 would know 9. And 9 would be like, "Where the he11 is Rose?"

That would be so funny, but Christopher Eccleston once said he "never bathes in the same river twice" when asked about returning to doctor who. Hope he changed his mind, I would also like to see some new monsters. I love the Daleks and the Cyberman, but they are in the show so many times. I would like if the nashta verada came back. Once more rant I would really like to see Captain Jack again :).

Okay, well the Daleks are gonna die down a bit because of what happened in the last (tease of a) season. As for the Cybermen, I think I read it somewhere (not sure if it was speculation or a well based rumor) that they'll be coming back better (worse) than ever.

As for the "Vashta Nerada" (not nashta verada) I don't care to see them again. Not only did they put my favorite Doctor through some serious mental blows, but they (Spoiler Alert -_-)

And Captain Jack coming back is very unlikely. 10th cut his ties when he was regenerating, and 11th doesn't like to look to the past.

Well very recently, he was asked about if he knew anything about the 50th anniversary, and he said if he told the interviewer, he would have to shoot him. David Tennant also seemed to hinting at something...

Here's a new trailer for The Snowmen:
