Ties it back to the Tennant years doesn't it? And you'd like that, of course! ^.^

Love quadrangle: the TARDIS, River, and Clara compete for the Doctor's affections. Like the Amy/Rory/Doctor triangle of season five but better.

Plot twist: River fancies Clara. O.o

Anyway, did anyone else notice the car that nearly ran over Clara's dad?

Another connection to Rose in the 50th perhaps?

Or Clara fancies River? I mean with the whole Nina thing.. XD
Okay well yes now I'm starting to see all the things between Rose and Clara line up, as well as the fact that Oswin was a Dalek, and the Bad Wolf stopped the Daleks yeah?
Question is, if Ten was there to see it happen, why doesn't Eleven remember, or even at least seem to remember?

Perhaps there is indeed a connection between Rose and Clara, but maybe it's not what we're expecting, which is why I think even the Doctor can't see it.
[DOUBLEPOST=1365477679][/DOUBLEPOST]Anyway, I wanna say that when I wanted to watch the Rings of Akhaten, my sister said she wanted to watch it too to see what was the deal with my Who obsession. Even though she was confused when I told her that Clara died twice before, she still enjoyed it, and said she wants to see next week's episode as well. I think I just converted her...

I still can't see a relation between Rose and Clara. I mean, even with the car, that could be the only car they happened to have on hand to fit the timeline. It would be a huge shocker if Rose was indeed connected to Clara.

As for my thoughts on "The Rings of Akhaten," it was a marvelous episode. I was kind of confused when the "parasite" came back after feeding off The Doctors memories, but I quickly recovered. It was a very nice touch using sentimental value as a way of defeating the episodes foil.

Clara is quite odd. At least, odd in a good way. She had no second thoughts of risking her life to save the girl, or going back to help The Doctor. I know in the past, we've seen the human side of the companions kick in. I think it's a very refreshing touch to see a companion with the same mentality of The Doctor.

This season just keeps getting better and better. Hope Moffat keeps it up ^^

    I can't even . . . I don't know what . . . How did . . .

This makes more sense the inevitable return of Lord Voldemort. Absolutely astonishing. This theory blows my mind. I'd hate for this to be true . . . but I can see Moffat pulling a stunt like this. It makes more sense than the Rose thing.

I'm still so glad I found this and showed it to you because it's so clever, and right up Moffat's alley.

He said there wouldn't be a recurring theme throughout this season, but this is only recurring through parts of 7.2 and I feel like he's just too attached to this style of writing (introduce something early on and then half a year later *SURPRISE it actually was relevant). Plus we've seen that the TARDIS didn't like Clara when she was alone. Maybe she's jealous or maybe she senses the danger with Clara...

I agree. I really, really hope it doesn't happen to be true.

Ooh I saw that theory on tumblr, interesting one.

    Also stumbled upon this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-22062350
Personally I don't really agree that there is an overt sexual tension between the Doctor and Clara--at least, no more than there was with previous companions. A lot less, actually. For Rose, Martha, and Amy there was certainly that element, but it's not as if every companion is head over heels for the Doctor (Donna). I think any supposedly sexual moments between the Doctor and Clara were really just up to Clara being ~sassy~... could be wrong of course but meh. It is good to note that the Doctor is currently married, also.

I rewatched the Rings of Akhaten again this morning and just fell in love with it, this series is just exceptional to be honest, I don't know how it could get any better.

If she is a trap then I hope she doesn't know it, of course she is just so appealing to the Doctor- he actually went out searching for her and it makes sense as to how he managed to bump into her 3 times since he travels through all of time and space and rarely meets someone more than once.

Also, the person in the shop could be Rose? Or it could be the person controlling Clara and Doctor's meetings (whoever made the trap- I'm guessing GI).

There are also various theories on the dates and ages of the various Clara's and the show which I find far fetched and probably just coincidence or Moffat toying with us. Things like this:

I think, well I'm really not sure to be completely honest. I mean some references make sense, some seem forced. I do think Clara may have some kind of a connection to an enemy that she's not aware of herself, since I honestly doubt they're just gonna figure out Clara's some wibbly time space exception somewhere along their travels. It's a particularly big plot point and it would be a pretty lame resolution, I mean in terms of story.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this or such but Ellie Oswald
died on 5 March 2005, just 21 days before the first airing of Doctor Who reboot, "Rose". Not sure if anything to do with the whole 50th, but I just found that interesting.

I noticed that, as well as the fact that the date has an importance within the events of the show itself: http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/2005 (go down to the part where the events of March 5th are discussed).

Which is why I strongly believe that:

Ellie Oswald was killed by Autons.
