Kingdom Hearts II Do you use an Action Replay?

I don't. My friend spent like, $40 on one and he's like "LOOK AT ME I HAVE MAX DEFENSE!" and later complains, "MAX DEFENSE IS BORING".

D: So I think it's not a good use of my money to bore me.

Do you, though?

 

i once considered to buy it but i thought what's the point, i like a challenge when i play games. :D

Anyone who finds a way to use one on Final Mix+ is teh dumb. D:

 

I was given one for free, but I only use it AFTER I have beaten a game, and then I use it just to have a little more fun with my games

 

That's what I do. It's so fun to use Final Form against Sephiroth.

 

That's what I'd do if I had one I guess, but I don't, but leveling Roxas before waking Sora was pretty cool. D: I wouldn't like equip Max Stats then play through the game because that would be boring imo.

 

I did on my friend's game for a while, but it got pretty dull since everyone died to Final Form. >.<

 

Might I add that my mentioned friend's AR glitched, so he had some huge HP bar, he landed in the Land of Dragons, and he went down to 4 HP.

I don't have one, but I see lots of uses for it. I'd probably never use it for RPGs, though.

I know AR with Smash Bros Melee is loads of fun. The tweaks you can do for that game are just hilarious.

I wouldn't pay that much money for it though. =\ Someone buy me one for the Cube? XD

 

An AR would be cool for that game.

Lol but yeah there isn't a lot of RPG type stuff that'd be fun for me. Playing as Mickey, meh, he can't finish combos. D: No after boss battle sutscsnes with a mouse in Sora's place.

 

Some of the AR stuff I've seen for SSBM:

- Samus spamming a full-charged cannon (zero lag inbetween so it looked almost like a wave of cannon blasts)

- Low gravity for all characters

- Characters face the screen as you battle (watching Fox dash back and forth on Final Destination while facing the screen is absolutely hilarious)

- Ability to duel on non-melee stages like Home Run Contest.

Meh, this is easier.

The Wrath of Giga Bowser - Fanmade video. Kinda funny, but awesome cinematography. The BGM is FFVIII's OP actually.

 

Yeah. Action Replay is only good for messing around with the games physics and what not after you complete it. Using it immediately to get everything is stupid as hell.

Also, using cheats period entirely ruins the way you will look at the game. That is why I refuse to cheat on it. :/

... but from what I've read, it can give you max Defense?? And other cool stuff??

 

Action Replay (ARMAX) is a cheat device.

 

It's like a game genie/gameshark of sorts. It performs all sorts of hacks to do things in video games--usually it's used for fun.

Yes, and I'd definitely use it for fun. It'd be no fun at all if I used it to beat the game!
