Do you think we'll use this in real life?

Do you think we'll ever use Geometric theorems like prove this triangle is similar to this triangle, or like finding out which paper towel is more absorbent, or some other random experiments...as for the paper towels...you could just buy them and just use them..I don't think we'll ever need to like estimate the quantity it absorbs...they all cost about the same....it's is sooo stupid.. (-_-')

My teach says that its only to prepare us for collage, but face it, its just a way to test how fast our brains work under certain situations >.> in other words, they are picking out the 'worth looken ats' from the 'who cares. they are liven in an apartment for the rest of thier lives'

I thought that, but then I saw a table in my math class that outlined exactly where we ARE going to have to use all this sh*t.

 

It's all for the purpose of making you think. It makes you smarter and more logical all around. Most people won't be using these theorems in real life, but it helps work the brain.

Proof that you are ignorant. You believe grades in the public school system in the US mean anything. Geometry shouldn't be hard if you're a Sophomore. I took it as a Freshman. I am ahead. <3

We should like learn stuff that has to do with our future career, instead of filling our heads with information we won't really need in our future jobs.....

Geom is easy..i just failed Algebra 1 on purpose..cuz the teacher was new to teaching and was not a very good teacher......it was fun though. That was the first time I've ever failed anything. ^.^..and no i am not usually ignorant..i have tons of awards to prove it.

It was..you didnt have to do HW for that class...lol..that was the best prt.

 

I got sick of all that this year and even tho im gwd at it and can do it i gave up on all this a couple terms ago... im not gonna involve math like that in my future, so i dont wanna waste my time on it. Algebra is the most evil, cruel and I'm never ever gonna use the stuff I learn in it. -.-
