I feel stupid all the time XD

 

She could've turned to a relative though! A neighbor even. A friend's parent! Someone other than Santa!

 

People tend to "Ignore" the little girls and their "FIBS"...and because Santa is such a nice person, why not

Try to think in the little girls shoes.

 

That's what I would do too.
I mean people who probably brush her off and she wouldn't have much to go by.

i actually heard on the News that the mail that goes to "Santa" or the North Pole DOES end up going somewhere. i just never knew who it went to. anyways, back to the question, i would say it is ok to read letters if there is a good reason for suspicion.

 

I don't think anyone would ignore a little girl saying that her dad molested or raped her.

 

It's a sad fact, but that's usally the case, The parents think they only want attention. So they dont care. Also if it's the father/stepdad/boyfriend doing the molesting, they love the person too much to NOT take it as truth

First off. That is a definate Christmas miricle. They were able to stop a dangerous person from victimizing his own flesh and blood. Reading a letter to Santa often opens up the inner secrets of a child. I mean, if you can't ask Santa... Who can you ask? Maybe someone read it thinking they might be able to fulfill a Christmas wish of some little girl and ended up being a hero for wanting to keep the Christmas spirit alive.

 

That's totally right... It that's how the caught the molester... I totally agree with that.
