I'm more of an old-school kind of guy when it comes to Pokemon. I prefer that there only be 151, no more. As far as I'm concerned, Pokemon has been dead to me for 10 years.

I'd still play the games, the new Pokemon don't really appeal to me but I play it anyway. My days of actually watching Pokemon are over, though.

I still love Pokemon, very much so. I got my first game when I was about 7, Pokemon Sapphire. I remember I leveled up a Blaziken by hand to level 96.
Then I got FireRed, I kept playing that and Sapphire until the DS games came out. I remember going to the 10th Anniversary Pokemon tour and getting a Celebi on FireRed, then my mother threw the game cartridge away. Can't believe she did that.
I do have a Pokemon Yellow game cartridge, but because it refuses to let me save, and now with a lack of GBA/DS with backwards compatability for GBA, it's kind of difficult to get past the starter town.

To be honest, I never really got into Pokémon. The only one I actually really played was Gold, and even then, I never beat it.

But I can say that I'm a fan of the old anime, not so much the crap that they have now. Maybe I should start playing more Pokémon?

I never liked it and probably never will. The gameplay and art style does not appeal to me. Neither did Animal Crossing, for similar reasons. I prefer story and character development over anything so vapid as collecting.

I absolutely loved the original Animal Crossing for some reason. I didn't really like the subsequent games though. To get back on topic, I still enjoy competitive Pokémon, though I am nowhere near as addicted as I used to be.

This, absolutely. I agree with your opinion for both Animal Crossing and Pokemon. The original Animal Crossing was awesome, and Pokemon isn't as big of a part of my life is as it use to be.

Even though most people say that pokemon sucks today, I think it's as good as it was when it started. I did get bored at some point, but until I found out that you can actually watch shows on the internet(Around 8 years old, I think, believe it or not), I rewatched all episodes of pokemon and I got back in to it.
I don't remember what the first game I played was, but I think it might've been pokemon Gold.

I still like it. I got Pokémon White last summer after an urge to play another Pokémon game. They do seem to get less challenging though, but maybe that's not a fault of the game itself, more so my experience with the series.

I pretty much lost my interest in Pokemon after Gold/Silver and they started making a ridiculous amount of pokemon. I'm not saying what they did was wrong, since that's pretty much all they could do to keep the series going. Plus the anime was starting to get way too long for me, I prefer series that stay under 50 episodes.

    I still watch the anime.

Indigo League (82) and Master Quest (65) were really the only two that went over 50 episodes.
The other ones, excluding the currently airing Black & White, were between 40 and 52 episodes.

I still love Pokemon with a passion <3

I play the old games on my GBA. Sapphire, Leaf Green, and Emerald. I play Yellow and Red online when I can haha, and my brother has the emulator on his Mac for Fire Red so that's fun too. I really enjoy playing it over and over again and leveling up and everything. I would really love to play the other games, but I need to get my hands on consoles first ;__; /shot They look interesting, but i'm honestly very lost with all the new Pokemon and part of me thinks they're running out of things to get them from xDD Ice Cream Pokemon? They're strong but like, what the bleep man?
I still watch the anime - well, the old ones at least. I'm not too friendly to the new ones haha. I love Indigo League the best. They are just adorabkle and whatnot. I do follow the movies though, and I do enjoy most of them.
When I see Pokemon merch, if I have the cash, I buy it. My mum understand how much I love Pokemon so yeah she approves of this. I still own cards and I like to play them every once in a while. Though, I don't really have people to play with... /foreveralone /shot
