    Depends.
I was known to be one of the toughest kids in my grade when I was younger, but I had to defend myself; I looked different due to vitilgo.
Now I have a minor anger problem, and I only really explode when my friends are harassed and when I'm called a halfbreed. I admit that I've beaten people up but for a good reason.
Martial arts probably helped too. xD Teacher taught us bushido, which has continuosly influenced me and my decisions.

    Depends on three things

    1. do they throw the first punch? if so, possibly it depends on reason two

    2. how many bullies are there?

    3. am i alone?

it mostly depends on 2 and 3 if i fight back....

Im a laid back type of guy. A bully can say whatever they want but if they touch me, asses will be kicked.

I'm much of a pacifist, so if there's fighting in general, I won't get involved.
If it's either me or my friends that are being targeted however, I can become very violent, but I prefer to keep my violence to a possible minimum of an arm-lock to make the attacker submit...

Because of my taking jujitsu lessons last year, I know very well how to make a person submit without having to cause them physical harm. :)

You know, that attitude can get you in trouble later in life - say, in a professional career.

I actually got into a fight today; verbal then physical.
Granted, all I did was tackle someone, but she had it coming. Only thing was that my friends had to restrain me, but meh. >_>

I never fight. Ever. The temptation is huge, but I don't. It's the only form of self-control I am very good at. When I'm in my MMA/Karate/Judo class, I do quite a bit of physical fighting to release energy that I store up (I do it a few times a week, which is probably why I'm so good at my self control).

"I only fight when I have to defend myself or others." sums it up nicely, although there are plenty of exceptions to that.
