Since there are some contrasting views, please give your input.

I, personally, enjoy dubstep. Recently, it has become somewhat overrated, I admit. But I still continue to enjoy it, mostly because I love a good beat. And the lyrics of mainstream music today I just can't stand, so I'd rather listen to music without lyrics.

    Thoughts?

Nope, I tried to, I really did, but I felt that every song really sounded the same to me, and it's not a pleasant noise to me personally, it's like slow downed rave, which I don't like in the first place, so it's not for me.

Really dubstep just wubs me the wrong way.

I do not like it in the slightest. I was driving home with Slaughtermatic and his cousin who was listening to it and my ears were bleeding the entire time. I honestly compare it to listening to 20 1990 computers starting up. Its a painful experience. This is just my honest opinion. Music is meant to be made with instruments, not computer effects and weird high pitch squeals.

I don't like rave music, but dubstep isn't exactly rave music. I liked it when I heard it for the first few times, then I realized, you can only be so creative with it. It gets old, overrated, and recycled. Same bass drop breakdown. Kinda like with mainstream metalcore bands. Their breakdowns sound the same. But it's worse with dubstep.
