Its pretty nice, if you just toned down the brightness and contrast down a bit, and then worked on adding a little depth in there it would be really great.

It's very good. :)

I'd suggest adding MUCH more depth to it. Also, make it appear more 3D, since that's how most Abstract pieces look. Sharpen it and erase some of it afterward.

The depth thing sounds like a good idea. I'll try another one, working more on depth.
