Do you know your ancestry?

I know little to nothing about my family. Other than the fact they've lived in the same area for the past three or four generations, zip. I have been told, and this has never been documented or proven, that Pocahontas, yes that Pocahontas, is my ancestor. I don't know how true that is or even if it's just something they made up, just a sort of fun idea. They told me that as a child and I started watching the Disney movie like it was a documentary. I suppose the answer is still no. I have absolutely no idea about my family history.
