Having school start at 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, to 7:00 and 5:30 PM. Really?! The school dismisses me during the time where there is heavy traffic?! Seriously?!

    This.

Depends on where you live, obviously, but usually school is from 8:25 AM to 3:00 PM.

During one of my previous semesters of college, I went from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. I practically lived there.

    Story time!

I went to elementary school until the fifth grade. I got taken out sometime during fifth because of school issues (teacher not doing her job, etc.) and was homeschooled. About six months later, I decided I wanted to go back to school, but wanted to repeat the fifth grade at a different school for a better experience, and it was.

After that I obviously moved to middle school, which had grades six through eight, and went for sixth grade, which later turned to part-time, and part of seventh grade, also part-time. Part way through seventh grade, things, again, weren't working out and I was taken out and homeschooled again. About two years later I start seeing some of my friends made in middle school in places like working at McDonald's and I start to miss them. I decided to go back and wanted to go to the high school, but instead of putting me in tenth grade (so that I could be in the same grade again as the friends I made in the sixth and seventh grades), they put me in ninth instead, which was still high school, of course, because they didn't think I was ready for tenth grade stuff, and I wasn't. It again was part-time.

Middle school here has seven periods, which are 45 minutes each on regular schedule, while the high school here has six periods, which are 55 minutes each. I personally favor six periods, but not because it's less periods, but because I don't think 45 minutes is enough time to learn.

My birthday is on November 8, so I had two ages each year. xD

    Freshman Year (9th) - Wednesday, September 4, 2008 - Friday, June 12, 2009: I was 16 and 17 years old.
    • Period 1: Spanish for Spanish Speakers
      - Final Grade: F
    • Period 2: Systems of the Earth
      - Final Grade: D
    • Period 3: Freshman English
      - Final Grade: P (Pass)
Note:I actually started on Monday, September 8, 2008, which was the first full week of school, so I only missed three days.

    Sophomore Year (10th) - Thursday, September 10, 2009 - Wednesday, June 16, 2010: I was 17 and 18 years old.
    • Period 5: Sophomore English
      - Final Grade: ?
    • Period 6: 1st Year Spanish
      - Final Grade: A
Note:I don't remember my grade for Sophomore English. I'll have a look around and see if I can find it.

    Junior Year (11th) - Wednesday, September 8, 2010 - Friday, June 17, 2011: I was 18 and 19 years old.
    • Period 4: Junior English
      - Final Grade: A
    • Period 5: 2nd Year Spanish
      - Final Grade: A
    • Period 6: DigiTools
      - Final Grade: A
    Senior Year (12th) - Wednesday, September 7, 2011 - Friday, June 15, 2012: I was 19 and 20 years old.
    • Period 1: Accounting
      - Final Grade: A
    • Period 2: Senior English
      - Final Grade: B
    • Period 4: Systems of the Earth
      - Final Grade: C
    • Period 5: 3rd Year Spanish
      - Final Grade: B-
Because I only went part-time, though, I did not get enough credits to pass, so now I am trying to get my GED. I only have my math test left, as I've passed the others:
    • Reading: 480
    • Writing: 700
    • Social Studies: 530
    • Science: 550
    • Current Average: 565
You need at least a 410 on a test to pass and at least a 450 average across all tests to pass the whole GED. Luckily, because I'm high everywhere else, I can afford to get the lowest passing score of 410 on math and still pass with a 534 average.

Normally I'd make some sort of smartass comment but I don't feel like it. Yes, I decided to not be Amon because I found my new spirit animal.
