Do You Have a Famous Ancestor?

I've got some really awesome ones:

-John Adams
-Henry Morgan (yes, the pirate XD)
-I'm pretty sure I'm related to royalty as well. You know the Yorks and the Lancasters? I'm related to the Yorks (King Richard III was one).

 

The only famous person I'm related to is Nicholas Cage, but I don't think we're blood related.

Edit: No ancestors though.

 

I'm related to a semi-famous rugby player, who's my distant cousin... but ancestors...
Nope, some Romanian gypsies, some other people. Yeah. Not a lot.

 

Well my dads mum was Patrick Pearses cousin,and my mums uncle was related to James Connolly somehow....which means im descened from 2 Irish rebel leaders :D

 

I've got proof I'm related to William the Conqueror but that's so far back, a lot of people will somehow.

 

My great great (don' t know how many great exactly) grandfather was Rev Charles Carnus, French scientist and martyr. He rode a montgolfière for 13 kilometres in 1784, one year after the Mongolfier brothers invented it. In the region I live in there are many schools, streets, bus stops etc ... named after him, though few people know exactly who the **** is that guy. He was recently featured in a French movie.

Don't know if it's true or not but supposedly I am related to Pocahontas and John Smith (the real ones not the Disney ones)

 

Some royalty in China. A prince? At least through my father's side. Not sure about my mother's side.

 

I've learned that, for some odd reason, I am related to Robert Frost. I can't remember if it's on my dad's or my mom's side, though.

 

The one that comes to mind, is pretty far back. Many people are related to him, but I am related to him in a straight line, not far out to the side

So yeah, I am technically royalty, if it wasn't for the fact our present royal family is originally Danish.

 

lol hes not really famous but my grandfather was a Native American sharman! He was a sharman of the Blackfoot tribe and though it isn't what people call famous its a 'job' everyone knows and looks at with interest lol.

 

My cousins grandfather made Skippy, if that counts. You know, that serie about a kangaroo.

 

According to my uncle on my mothers side, I am a direct descendant of the guy who killed Macbeth. I don't know if that's true or not, but if it is, I think that's pretty cool.

 

My grandma on my mothers side said we are realated to the Vanderbilt's. Not sure how true that is though XD

I am not sure about my father's side either xD

 

From what my dad said, My great great second aunt was Lizzy Boarden.
Not sure if true, but I'm related to a killer if I am, neat.

 

My mother claims her side of the family is related to him somehow.
Also, my father claims his side of the family is related to John Hancock somehow. I don't know if he's right, I'll edit it if it turns out not to be true.

 

According to my mom, somewhere waaayy up the line, i'm related to John the baptist. If thats true, than that means i'm related to Jesus. Also Rob Roy. Who is like a scottish Robin Hood.
