Do you ever wish...

Do you ever wish you could be somebody else? Like someone who is smarter, prettier or may seem like they have it easier than you? Sometimes I feel like that, but I remember how good my life really is. What about you guys???

 

Not really, although spending a day or so in someone else's shoes could be pretty cool. I'd be more interested in getting in someone's head, and find out what they're thinking, though.

Honestly no. I'm not saying I adore myself and think I'm better or whatever but I'm okay with who I am. I really don't wish I could be someone else just so my life can be easier. Every living person has problems and there's no point in wishing to be somebody else.​

 

Yes. I would love to be someone not like me. Not so annoying. Not so stupid. So my answer is a definite yes.

 

Ehm... No, don't think so. I'm pretty much statisfied with my in and outside, intelligence and everything.

 

The only improvements I would ever make to myself is I would lose about 150 pounds, and give myself telekinesis. Seriously. I know the last one won't happen, but I can dream. Besides, the mind is basically unknown. Maybe it could allow me to move stuff with my mind. You never know. I would NEVER make myself a different person, though.

 

Actually I never do, I may have times when I am not amazingly happy with how my life is, and maybe sometimes I don't particularly like myself, but I would rather be than anybody else.

Despite how ******ed I am at times, I'm still happy to be Miele. I find it incredibly hard to imagine myself with a name other than that. And I have a ton of family and friends that I'd hate to not have.

i deffinitley would. jsut to see how others think or act. but in the end go back to my self. being someone else would be so weird expecially if u knew their and your thoughts at once.

 

I've definitely felt that, especially during my first two years of High School. There were certain people who seemed to never make mistakes or were pretty/smart/popular/insert-good-trait-here/etc. Anime actually helped me through that. Alot of shows I watched actually looked at the different lives of the characters and each persons life had troubles and bumps. Sooo, put simply...

I never ponder too much on that issue. I guess sometimes.

 

It would be fun to live the life of someone else one day. Yes, I do want to be someone else sometimes when I'm upset. But then I think: "What would life be with none of my friends, none of my family and none of the things I have?".

Forget about fantasies & daydreams, and enjoy your life because its there waiting to be lived.

 

Not really. More like stay myself with maybe someone elses quality for a while. I've never wanted to actually be someone else.​

 

lol i wish i was a taller person sometimes because being short (lol "fun-sized") isnt always the best.

but overall i think we should all be happy with who we are because everyone may never be satisfied if they kept "changing" and "being someone else." youre blessed to have the body you do... love it! XD

If I were as ugly as you, I wouldn't even be posting here. I'd have killed myself a long time ago.

Usually I'd prefer not to exist at all, but not to be someone else, since then I'd be living a lie, or a good life based on someone elses achievements. I wish I was better myself, but I wish I was so much better than what I am now that that would probably be a different person anyway...
