Yes, we can. I know I have changed over the years and will continue to change. It's not easy not predictable but it happens.

Yeah it all depends on that individual. You can't force someone to change though. He or she has to make that choice for him or herself. It's like trying to get a smoker to stop smoking or an alcoholic to stop drinking.

It basically depends on the person. Some people can change and some can't. Mostly it depends on if they WANT to change or not. That's a big part of it.

If the person chooses to and tries hard enough, He/She would change.

People can definitely change, unintentionally most of the time. I've changed quite drastically at least twice in the the last five, six years.

I used to be really shy, a pushover, extremely sensitive when I was younger. I started to change when I went to middle-school, a.k.a when I hit puberty. I was quite wild, raunchy, cynical, jaded, even a bit violent at times. I still had my sweeter side, but I was known as the 'tough girl' throughout the three years of middle school (which is rather ironic, considering my feeble body structure).
At around fifteen, sixteen, I decided that I didn't like being that girl, so I taught myself to keep my cool in almost any situations, to consider other peoples feelings. My friends in high-school had a hard time believing me when I told them about the way I acted earlier, they actually laughed at me the first time. And sure, I can get real nasty at times, but it takes a lot more to get to my bad side nowadays.
So yeah, I'm not the same girl I was when I was 11, not the same girl that I was when I was 14. I'm not gonna be exactly the way I am now when I'm 20. It's only natural to change when you grow up, it's practically inevitable.

I sure people can change, but that's up to them.

    I know I'm glad I've changed myself.

    People can obviously change.
If your habits change your personality will change. /thread
