Pleh, not me at all. I mean, I just go with the flow of life and just go with what ever is thrown at me. If I get bad luck, then I get bad luck. There's more to worry about then just superstition in life. It's fun to believe in, true, but I think it's just silly.

I don't believe in them at all. Especially some that involve spiritism...and I stay away from that.

On second thoughts, I'm afraid so. I'm horribly superstitious. You see doc, I'm a wargamer. There are whole websites dedicated to getting that six when you need it.

I've always wondered how you can believe in some superstitions and think others are bull. Unless you've had a sufficient amount of first-hand experiences with the ones you do believe in. Then it makes slightly more sense, I guess.

I believe in none whatsoever. None that I can think of right now at least.

No. Most superstitions, if not all, usually do not have any scientific basis on their proposed claims and are usually the result of tradition.

I don't believe in superstitions. I mean, part of the actual definition of the word is not based on reason or knowledge. Most have been around for a long time. Certain cases are just a coincidence. I'm pretty paranoid, but you'll never find me knocking on wood.

I believe superstitions have their place. Some can encourage people (knocking on wood, etc), or allow them to delegate responsibility to an external force (Friday the 13th, black cats, etc), for instance. Do I believe they work? NO. There is no evidence for any effect from a superstition, save for any "placebo effects" that occur (if you believe something will help you/make you healthy/etc, it sometimes does help - slightly).
