had crawled near a window,

and get run over.
The policeman said,

He told her that they think
a serial killer
has a baby's cry recorded
and uses it to coax
women out of their homes
thinking that someone
dropped off a baby
He said they have not verified it,
but have had several calls
by women saying that
they hear baby's cries
outside their doors
when they're home alone
at night.

That really is creepy, though I wonder why the lady would call the police instead of just opening the door. Wow, I just got the heebie-jeebies from reading that >.< It's a good story for around Halloween time though.

 

It said she called the police because she thought it was wierd.

Seriously though, if you heard a little baby crying on the porch, you WOULD look wouldn't you? Even if it was just through a window. Or at least I would anyway =/ because what if it WAS an abandoned baby? I couldn't just leave it not knowing so how could they tell people to just ignore it/ not look? ...

I would call the police also. True or not, it's safe to be cautios and having some random baby crying at your door... no. Besides, if it really was a baby, you would call the police anyways.

 

That is one creepy story. l feel like it's Halloween all over again...is that story true? Because I never did open the door to anybody, and now, I never will.
