For the Red: Actually, Nobodies have both a body and soul. What they are lacking is a heart.

Life is created by three things, as Pika_power said. But those three things are the Heart (emotion and feeling), Body (organs, bones, and such), and the Soul (life and personality). A Nobody is created when a person loses their heart, but their body and soul stay behind, which is why they appear and act the same, just without emotion. The "Spirit" that Pika_power talked about is the combination of Heart and Soul that would be what carries on to the afterlife, I assume, in the KH universe.

They are not Nothing in the full literal sense. What they are is soul and bodies. The only difference between a nobody and an other, or somebody, is the fact that sombodies have hearts.

Yen Sid, Ansem the Wise and the journal all said so.

Ansem the Wise said "Nobodies dont have the right to be" Meaning they do exist. So they arnt purely made of nothing.

Yen Sid is also the only character (besides Sora who repeats him) who said nobodies are made of nothing. He was saying this to make the point that they are hallow, and dont have hearts.

So yes they do exist. They do have bodies. So they must be able to bleed. But we will never see a character in this game ever bleed anyway. So this arguement is about nothing.

We are also making the assumption that everybody saying the information we've based this discussion upon is correct. A rule of video games is never to believe what a character says until it has been proven. Yen Sid could have been wrong, Ansem could've been too. Ansem even said he was sorry to Roxas later in the game before he died. Why say sorry to nothing? Because, maybe Ansem finally realized Roxas had some form of heart.

No, I don't think they can bleed. but not because they're nothing. I think the mentioning of the heart is metaphorical and physical. Their veins are filled with something else, not blood.
