Do Animes Make Good Games?

I've noticed most (popular) animes have spawned a game of some sort...such as Naruto, Dragon Ball, Yu-gi-oh, etc. In my opinion, they aren't so good...in games, one of the most important thing is the story (for me anyway...) and since it's based on the anime, there isn't much of a plot (or it's way too predictable since it's a copy off the anime). It's basically fight, fight, fight (or dueling for Yu-gi-oh...). If there are other anime-based games that aren't like that...then I have yet to see them (I haven't seen a lot of anime-based games actually so that's why my opinion is like this xD).

So what's your point of view on this?

 

I never really liked ANY games based on an anime.
The FMA game was HORRIBLE, and the first two DBZ games weren't great either.

 

Like games based on movie, no they generally don't. They are normally rushed and medicore. Japan are bad when it comes to see. There are tons of anime based games but most never make it beyond Japan. Like EA does with movie licenses they use basic formula's and add anime characters in it. =/

 

Going off of my own experience, I'd have to say no. Even games based on the Gundam series tend to be bad.

Agreed. They are tend to be bad,examples like those Narutos and Dragon Balls games. well most of them actually since there's a few good anime based games, like Gundam Assault 2 (Awesome!)but other than that, just meh.
