Nah, I already know what it's about, I'm just seeing if anyone else has read it.

I only have the first volume, but it's really good. My friend has a lot of them, and she let me read volumes 2 and 3. It's one of my favourite manga series.

From the back of the first volume:

Daisuke Niwa is an ordinary middle school student who has inherited an interesting family condition. Upon seeing Risa, the girl he adores, he transforms into a daring phantom thief. When the phantom thief sees his own object of desire, he turns back into Daisuke. The only way to cure this craziness is if Daisuke can get Risa to fall in love with him, but how can she love someone she can't see?

I'm quite addicted to it, actually. The art is good, the story's pretty decent, and there are plenty of funny moments. The 'phantom thief' part of Daisuke is like an alternate personality for him, and the two of them fight often, leaving people to stare at Daisuke sometimes, wondering what he's doing.

I really loved this series in the begining, but there are some things I don't get. It was fine when it was the whole "Daisuke is a theif thing", but where I'm at in the series...Why don't they explain why Dark is fighting Krad?!! I mean, usually there would be some story behind their actions. Plus,... WHY is he stealing? I do hope Yukiru answers these questions in the rest of the series, or I will write a strongly stated letter to her complaing! Anyway,...I love the art and the comedy. It was a great story idea. I have volumes 1-6.

I've got 1-11, so...yeah there are a few more hints as to why Dark is doing this, but not much. It's pretty much hinted that Dark is hunting the Hikari artworks for some reason or other, and that he is a 'kokuyoku', or 'black wings'...half of it, anyway.

I haven't read the manga, but I've seen almost every episode of the Anime. I love it! It's fantastic!

Believe me, you want to read the manga. I've seen the anime, too, and it pales in comparison!

It is. The manga goes into more detail between the relationships of the characters in each story, whereas the anime sort of skips around and condenses as much as possible into an episode. Plus, the stories that are in the manga are soooo much better in comparison to the anime, that is, in terms of, how can I say....situations (ex. one character confesses love to the other on the beach, while in the manga, it's the same situation, but one character is in a coma, and the confession is heard while he's coming out of it. Oh the drama!)

    lol

I'm reading the manga and watching the anime. I get my copies of the manga from the library so I'm missing #1. I've seen the 1st episode in English and Japanese. If I haven't read volume 1 and I've seen episode 1 is really worth it to back track?

Episode 1 & volume 1 are more or less the same...again, manga is more detailed. You find out a lot more detail about Risa's character in volume 1...plus, a much better (well, for the reader anyway) scene of Riku's first encounter with Dark...or second, I should say X3.

lol when you said Riku I was thinking the one from KH. Also my sis was like,"This is a ******ed series. And Riku is a cross gender name now?"

Anyway I still have the book on hold. I guess I'll read it.

One more Question. Are they still making mangas for this series?

Oh, that's nothing. You should have seen my reaction to 'Sora'; first time I heard that name was on the first season of Digimon. I wasn't sure if KH's Sora was a boy or a girl at first...the voice sure didn't help.

I don't know, in terms of regular comics (ex. like appearing in 'Shonen Jump'), but their latest volume is 11, and it gave a preview of what was to be expected in the next volume...that was a little over a year ago, so I'm hoping they still do.

cha they better. If they gave a preview then they have to. It should be a law!
