My question is...why do some people think it's all REAL just because it's like a documentary? I mean seriously? REALLY?

Very flippin' well done! I fraking love it. Definitely buying the DVD as soon as it's out so I could watch it some more. :333

I wanted to see it with my friends, but when we got to the counter, they said "Do you have an IC?"

    It's because it is.

I think it's awesome how they didn't make it completely futuristic, by setting the first encounter in 1982, with appropriate camera quality to boot, and making it realistic through and through. None of that "lol magic aliens" bull. It all feels like it could happen.

    Same same same.

Not as huge as your OVERSIZED SIGNATURE.

But seriously it's the first movie this year that I would go so far as to call amazing.

Bumping D: because I saw this last night.

I thought it was an amazing film, it really wasn't what I was expecting at all, to be honest I didn't particularly want to go see it because I thought it would be another cliched alien vs humans film, and whilst to some degree it is, it completely blew me away.

I jumped a lot, I very rarely jump in films, for the majority of it I literally was sat on the edge of my seat, at a few points I nearly lost the popcorn I had been eating >_> luckily I managed to keep it down o:

I admit I cried more than once, but that is because I am majorly sensitive D:

Anyways, rambling aside, it is a great film. I liked how it ended to, it was both sweet but also sad.

I actually didn't like the movie at all. I watched it for 20 min and thought that, hey, if it's not getting any better I'm leaving. I really didn't want to waste time finding out if it was good or not, so I went and saw Inglorious Basterds instead.

How can you say you didn't like the entire film when you didn't see all of it?

It got a lot better as it progressed, but then I was hooked from pretty much word go.

Well I didn't like what I did see. I just didn't like the concept and the aliens were really lame in my opinion. It's a new and different style alien flick, I just wasn't all that into the concept I guess.

I saw the whole movie, it's not bad. It does get better with time, though. And it's nothing like you'd expect from watching the trailers. The ending was unexpected, and actually pretty good. Though I must say, people hyped it up to be way better than it actually was.
