I would take a villain, except there don't seem to be any to my taste...
... unless Professor Hojo was a legit character for the RP.

 

Sorry, he's not. Hojo doesn't have much in means of...attacking or defending without some sort of pawn.

 

When might we be starting? I was looking forward to this one.

Kain planted his spear into the ground beside him and surveyed the area. At least with the wide open plain he wouldn't have to worry about attacks. Turning to his team, he signaled for them to keep moving. Once they'd turned around the corner he shook off his helmet and breathed in the cool air. "If only everyday could be this peaceful."



Zack cut through another layer of manikins and grinned at his comrades, "Alright, another one down! Onward!" Running forwards, Zack slammed his boot into the face of another manikin resembling Lightning. "Yeah!" Twirling his sword and latching it on his back, he smacked his fist into his palm. "So who's up for another round!"



Decked out in her new armor Lightning set her hands on her hips and glared at Zack. "This isn't a game, Zack. We need to focus. Let's just keep moving and try not to mess this up and get us killed." Zack pouted as he followed her, but refused to argue with his leading officer. "C'mon...let's move, we're lagging behind Kain." As she ran, her white feather train attatched to her hip fluttered behind her.

ooc: I'll post as the bad guys later. Pick whichever team you guys want or make your own.

 

Leading the way, Vanille hopped her way over the log as she continued dancing through the path. Sensing her foes, she brought out her binding rod, attacking those that came from the shadows. She eliminated almost all of them, having one come up behind her, ready to strike her head.

There was a single shot from behind. Vanille turned around and saw her enemy on the floor, with Sazh pointing his gun straight out. She giggled lightly, seeing that he just barely made it over the log in time.

"Nice shot," Vanille complemented.

"More lucky, really," Sazh said, standing back up. "Lets just stay close together, alright. Any idea where we're going?"

"Nope," Vanille answered before skipping off down the path.

 

"Indeed my friend." came a voice from behind Kain. The voice belonged to Cecil Harvey, Kain's best friend and rival. He was in his Paladin armor, so he lacked a helmet to remove. "I do rather miss our home sometimes."

"Claire, relax. Let Zack have his fun, today's awfully peaceful." said Lightning's younger sister Serah Farron. "I wonder where Snow is though... I haven't seen him since we got here. I'm a bit worried."

"Yeah. Besides, the odds of the Warriors of Chaos attacking are slim." said Tidus, teh young blonde boy walking next to Serah. He looked at Serah. "I'm sure Snow's fine. From what you've said, he seems like a real trooper."

 

A small light feather shaded white slowly glided to the light sliver ground a young dark haired female slowly stepped towards the fallen feather showing a slight smirk with a cheerful glow holding her blue pinwheel weapon in her arms. " What is this strange place ? " She asked with a curious tone in her voice.

Suddenly Rinoa felt a slight shudder up her spine, she knew that somebody was behind her, from the corner of her eye she saw somebody holding a long lightpink staff that looked unknown from her world.

" Oh " ?! "Hello"! Rinoa turned around and childishly poked the young female stranger staff in a friendly smile. " What a interesting weapon "!

The female Staff Wielder quickly stepped back, she seemed rather serious, stiff, and un-willing to be defeated in battle.

" Are you a warrior of Chaos "??

Yuna quickly asked Rinoa, Yuna tried to hide the nevours and scared tone in her voice- Rinoa- she looked powerful and deadly.

Rinoa however giggled. " No, what's a Chaos !? " " There's no need to be so serious, relax a little !"

Yuna shook her head rather quickly " I cannot trust anybody here, this place is a war- zone " !

Rinoa looked away from Yuna and held her necklace tightly underneath her neck. " War... nothing has changed..."

Yuna feeling more supportive towards Rinoa, stepped towards her showing Rinoa her slight watery eyes. " You're used to war too "?

Rinoa smiled at Yuna, regaining her bright and friendly spirit. " Oh yes, I know what it's like " !

Suddenly Yuna felt like she has beginning to create a new friend, somebody that she could trust. Maybe Rinoa wasn't so bad after all !

 

Snow: "Come on you two hurry up" Snow yelled towards his companions.They were walking so slow.
Auron : "Do you even know where your going?"
Snow: "I have to find Serah I know shes here somewhere"
Vincent: "Wherever here is" Vincent looked around it was like a void. At least he still had his gun, he grabbed his phone out of his pocket. "No service but it not like I expected any" he said to Auron.
Auron : "Well charging off without a plan is going to get yourself killed" he said to Snow.
Snow: He turned around and looked right at Auron "Real heros don't need plans"
Vincent: "Saving the fighting for the enemies"

All three stopped and looked at each other for a moment. They were different but a little the same.

Snow: Snow laughed and smiled "Sorry guys guess I'm just a little confused"
Auron : "Its fine guess we are all"
Vincent "We will find the answers"
Auron : "Auron" He started walking and then turned his head towards them "My name"
Vincent: "Vincent Valentine"
Snow: "Snow Villiers good to meet you two." He looked to auron, "Hey now where are you going?"
Auron: Smiled and said "Your the one who wanted to find your girl"

 

Kain turned to look at his old friend. "Do you remember it then? I cannot remember a thing...but...there is a feeling of pain somewhere deep inside my heart. I aim to know this pain...and to do that...we must continue on. Return to the Sanctuary...was that not Cosmos' orders?" Not being one to disobey orders, Kain put back on his helmet, the purple fake hair covering his real blond color. "We haven't the time to linger here." Yanking his spear from the ground, he continued forwards after his team.



Zack grinned at Serah, "Alright then! Soooo...Light, your name is Claire?" He watched Lightning barely react and shrugged, "Aw well...just trying to have a bit of friendly conversation. Hey, Light, wait up!" She walked past him and he followed close on her heels. "On the road again~" he started to sing and LIghtning stopped abruptly in front of him, causing him to bump into her back and fall backwards. "Hey! What..." he came up short when he noticed Light had drawn her weapon. Peeking around her...he saw him.



"That's far enough...Lightning." Caius stood before them, weilding his giant sword in one hand like it was nothing. "This guy...he knows my name. Zack, get up! Serah, Tidus, be ready, he might not be alone." Caius smirked and over dramatically swept his arm out in front of him. "I've come to eliminate you from this existance and I shall not fail. The future shall be written in your blood." Lightning frowned and aimed her gunblade at the man. "Who are you?" "I am the one who will end your miserable life. That is all you need to know."



Dropping down from the sky, a one-winged angel landed before Auron, Snow and Vincent. "The end of Harmony...begins with the felliing of a single warrior...or three." He spoke with an emotionless deep voice and silver hair fell down his back, even as he folded his wing behind his shoulder. Drawing an incredibly long blade from his side, the man pointed the tip of it down at the three, "My name is Sephiroth...and I shall be your escort to the Promised Land."



Nearly mimicking Sephiroth's entrance, a man clad in red landed on a small hill before Rinoa and Yuna. "When the war of the Beasts brings about the worlds end...the Goddess descends from the sky." He drew a red blade and flipped shut the red leather bound book he was holding.

 

Serah quickly took out her bow and readied it. She had no idea who he was, but chances were, he was INCREDIBLY bad news.

Tidus drew his sword and stood ready to attack. He knew Lightning, and that sword he carried looked like it hurt. "I'm ready when you are Lightning." he said.

Cecil looked at Kain. "It's a vague memory. I remember... there is a woman waiting for me there. But I cannot recall her name." he looked towards the team. "Looks like they have company." he said. "We best go help them." He slowly started walking towards them.

 

Zidane felt something sting the back of his leg, a thorn, or something worse. He sighed and trudged the final step atop the knoll. "Whoa." He gasped. His muddy boot slipped from beneath him and he crashed to his knees. The soil splashed on his pant legs and he breathed a curse. "How far away is this place anyway?" He moaned, pushing himself back to his feet.

He stepped to the overhang and cupped his eyes. On the plains below, he saw two girls and a tall man. He shook any remainder of tire from his bones and put his hand on his blade. "Looks like trouble!" He said, in a theatrical tone that would rival any actor. He leapt from the small hill and let his hand slow his fall, scraping it into the soft soil. His knees slightly buckled when he touched down, but he hopped to attention and began running towards the commotion.

 

Vincent head started to pound a little "Sephiroth why do I know that name." "You know this guy" asked Snow. "No... yes... I cant remember". Auron moved closer to Sephiroth and pulled out his blade "What do you mean the end of Harmony?" Snow shook his head "does it matter" he said "Lets just take care of this guy." "We need to be careful ... This guy is very dangerous." said Vincent as he pulled out his gun and aimed for Sephiroth 's head."That may be true but so are we" said Auron. Snow smiled "come on guys heroes never lose." Be safe Serah your the only thing I remember he thought.

 

"At last the war between harmony and discord has truly begun. Warriors from all over battle for their deity's supremacy and will fight until the opposing deity's team is no more" Mateus merely mused to himself as he sat on the throne of Pandemonium Castle. "Now tell me Garland just what are your thoughts about this war?" Mateus said glancing over at the heavily armored knight standing near by.

"It is a war of strife and malice.There is nothing more to do other than to enjoy the spenders that this war has given us. Blood will be shed and a grand and glorious battle shall ensue" Garland said calmly as he stared back at the emperor.

"hmm I see your merely in it for the fight then...heh but you must know all too well that the Warriors of Chaos have the upper hand in this war. Thanks to ExDeath we have our own army that gives us a great advantage over Cosmos's Warriors. The manikins are under our control and so victory has become easier than expected" Mateus said closing his eyes with a smirk.

"Do what you please with the manikins, they are an anomaly of the war. If used properly the manikins could wipe out the Warriors of Cosmos before they could even retaliate" Garland said

"Oh? Garland...you seem to know much more than you reveal. A mere knight that is the closest to Chaos out of all the warrior summoned forth, how interesting...I am looking forward to seeing all that you are hiding" Mateus said smirking as he rested his cheek on his fist.

Wordlessly Garland turned around and began to walk off. There was nothing that needed to be said. The emperor was a tactical man that shouldn't be underestimated.

"ahhh perfect time for a break" the traveler Bartz said as he stretched his body with a relaxed sigh "man just were is everybody anyways" Bartz said crossing his arms "wonder if they are alright...nah they are strong so I'm sure they are alright" Bartz said happily uncrossing his hands and smiled "well then since there aren't any enemies around now would be the best time to switch into a job" Bartz said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a crystal shard "this one should do the trick" Bartz said as the crystal piece shone. Immediately A blue and red armor covered his body and a sword and shield appeared in his hand. "Alright Warrior job class equipped" Bartz said

 

Serah looked at Caius. "What business do you have with us other than being our gate to the promised land. We don't know you at all!" she said, a lot more bravely than she felt by a long shot. She wished Snow was here. But why? She knew him, and she wanted him to be here, but why? We're they friends? Family? Lovers? It was wierd. Wishing for Someone who she didn't know the significance of.

"Easy Serah." Tidus said. He knew she was scared. Truth be told, he was too. But just a little. This war of the gods seemed like the real deal. He had to win so he could go home. But... To what? He couldn't remember anything. Just a name... Yuna. Who's name was it? He decided to forget about it and ponder it later. Right now, this fight was his concern.
