Dissidia: Marvel vs Capcom OOC Thread

This my first real attempt at creating an RP, so bear with me if it's not perfect.

Cosmos, The Goddess of Harmony.
Chaos, The God of Discord.

...Sounds familiar, right?

Well that's because it is. Marvel vs Capcom needs a story behind it, and what better way to rip off another crossover story in order to do it?

Anyways, back to the nitty-gritty.

The 13th cycle had ended long ago. Since then, the warriors that the God and Goddess had been using to fight their war had either fallen while fighting in the War of the Gods or by some other means in their own worlds. It was then that Chaos and Cosmos had come face to face to discuss the issue.

"Cosmos. I come to you to discuss an issue both of us currently have. The warriors we have been using to fight this war are no more. There are none like them left in that part of the universe."

Cosmos nodded.

"I am aware. We must find new warriors worthy of fighting. But the question is, who else in the universe is there?"

The Gods pondered the question for a while.

They eventually came across two worlds that were very similar to each other, and chose to summon warriors from both of those worlds.

The warriors have been summoned, and the battle will soon begin.

NOTE: I'm not going by the actual story past the 13th cycle , so weather or not there actually was a 14th cycle does not matter here.

Also, if Chaos ever died or anything (Not sure if he actually did), disregard it. Chaos is alive and well here.

First off, I know the Dissidia idea has been used quite a bit, but there's nothing wrong with using something that works, right?

Anyway, on to the rules:

1.What I say goes. Not to sound like a d1ck, but, unless specified by me, I am the only rule maker...guy.
2. No godmodding, rule-breaking, blah blah blah. You know the drill for this part.
3. You may have up to 3 characters per alliance.
4. I allow only one switch from Chaos to Cosmos and vice-versa per character. This includes if you already have 3 characters on the side that the character is switching to.
5. Minimum 2 sentences per post.
6. If there is a character that is not on the list that you would like to be added, send me a PM and I'll consider it. (In the beginning there shouldn't be a problem, but as more are added some characters might not make it through.)
7. I will control the Gods, Cosmos and Chaos, and the Villain characters, who's identities will be revealed as time goes on.
8. If you read all this, put "Fate of Two Worlds" in your post.

Short description of character: The Merc with a mouth. Wade Wilson was diagnosed with cancer, he tried to use Weapon X to cure himself. While his life stopped being in danger he lost his mind and his face became disfigured meaning he would always wear a mask but he gained a healing factor from it. After being taken to a mental institute which was really a mad man's slaughter house and escaping he took the name Deadpool and resumed mercenary services. He knows he is fictional, but to others he comes off as a mad man. He's skilled with many weapons, such as guns and swords but his constantly talk usually makes people think less of his skills.

Short description of character: Vergil is the older of the twin sons of Sparda and Eva. Unlike Dante, his younger brother, he embraces his demonic heritage and despises his human one. His personality is a complete opposite to Dante's; Vergil is cold blooded and sardonic. He has a lust for power and is willing to disregard anything to obtain the power of his father. He uses Yamato, a keepsake from his father, and possesses a sense of style which rivals Dante's.

Short description of character: Samanosuke is a ronin who traveled far and wide. Upon receiving a letter from his cousin Princess Yuki, Samanosuke proceeds to save her from monsters known as Gemma who are led by the warlord Nobunaga. Upon reaching his cousin Samanosuke tried his best to save her from a gigantic Gemma but failed and was knocked unconscious. As he laid there conscious, 12 oni appeared before Samanosuke and gifted him with a gauntlet that had the ability to absorb the souls of the Gemma. After saving his cousin and killing the Gemma king Fortinbras and awakening his 'Onimusha form' Samanosuke proceeded to dedicate himself to defeating the Gemma.

Mega Man X (Known simply as X) is the main protagonist of the Mega Man X series. As is explained in Mega Man X, he is the template on which all Reploids are based, and he battles against Mavericks to protect the humans and assuage his guilt for his part in their creation. He was created by Dr. Light sometime in 20XX. Light named him X after the variable "x" which, in algebraic terms, represents limitless possibility, as do X's advanced systems.

Mentor and Partner to Megaman X, he is a top class Maverick Hunter who undergoes constant inner turmoil regarding his mysterious past and purpose, of which he seems to see glimpses of in nightmares, and the fact that the Virus does not affect him like it does other reploids, who have their programs corrupted and turn erratic and violent and bent on human destruction, becoming "Maverick". Quite the contrary, it in fact makes him stronger, and causes him absolutely no ill effects, much to his grief and fear. In Mega Man X to X3, his main weapon is the Z-Buster, with the Z-Saber being introduced to his arsenal in X3, but as more of a sub weapon. In Mega Man X4 onwards, Z-Saber becomes his main weapon, and the buster his sub weapon (It actually has not been seen in use since X6). He was actually created by Dr. Wily as his "masterpiece" in order to replace Bass and later destroy X, Light's masterpiece, thus settling his grudge rivalry with Light, and prove his superiority. In Mega Man X6 Zero's ending, he is shown some time in the future, entering a sleep capsule where he will awaken 102 years later on August 15. This would be the first of two times Zero seals himself away.

Also, I forgot to answer this earlier, but switching sides from Chaos to Cosmos and vice-versa is okay, but I will allow only one switch per character. I will add this to the rules up in to OP.

Let's get 3 more CHAOS warriors to even things out. Here, I'll even make one myself.

Character Chosen: Wolverine
God they fight for: (Chaos or Cosmos) Chaos
Short description of character: Born as James Howlett and commonly known as Logan, Wolverine is a mutant, possessing animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, three retracting bone claws on each hand and a healing factor that allows him to recover from virtually any wound, disease or toxin at an accelerated rate. The healing factor also slows down his aging process, enabling him to live beyond a normal human lifespan. His powerful healing factor enabled the supersoldier program Weapon X to bond the near-indestructible metal alloy adamantium to his skeleton and claws without killing him. He is most often depicted as a member of the X-Men, Alpha Flight, or later the Avengers.

Now that makes two more Chaos characters.

Short description of character: Nero was a Holy Knight in The Order of the Sword, a religious order that worships Sparda and fights to protect the world from demons. He performed "special jobs" for the Order. Nero's rebellious nature leads to the Order making him work alone[2], but Nero actually prefers to act as a lone wolf. Little about him is known, but apparently, he was raised in the city of Fortuna as an orphan.

God they fight for: Cosmos
Short description of character: Jubei is the leader of Yagyu Village. After Nobunaga Oda attacked his village he sought revenge and went on a mission to defeat him. Shortly after beginning his quest he discovered his true heritage. His father had a child with an Oni woman, Jubei was that child. After defeating Nobunaga and an onslaught of high ranked demons Jubei was forced into hiding as he became an outlaw from Nobunaga's influence. However, he returned to his village hidden in a deep forest to begin rebuilding it.

 

Could I get you to have him be on the Chaos side? We've already got quite a few Cosmos characters and not enough Chaos characters.

Actually, if Jubei is switched to Chaos, it'll be even. 5 on Cosmos and 5 on Chaos. More characters can join in later on.

Short description of character: A top-secret program is tasked to replicate the original Weapon X experiment that bonded adamantium to the skeleton of Wolverine. Her real name is Laura Kinney. Like Wolverine, she can summon a number of Adamantium claws from her fists and her feet.

They are both fighting for the Fate of Two Worlds.
