Dissidia Literary

This is basically a Dissidia rpg with literature characters. You can play as your favorite literary hero and villain, coming from any book series. If you don't know any book series, you can always choose a game character (not from Final Fantasy). Of course, each character will have a EX Mode and you need to choose their stage.

Bio: The famous 'Boy-Who-Lived', Harry Potter lived with the Dursleys until age eleven. It was at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he learned his destiny as the one to defeat Voldemort, the man who killed his parents. He is unsure of his power and wonders if he can do it.

EX Mode: Similar to Jaster's EX Mode, but Tor uses more underhanded tactics.

Bio: The original legendary Sumerian King whose wealth surpasses all. He is a Demi God and one of the first heroes on alive earning the title of "King Of Heroes". He was summoned as a heroic spirit to do battle for the Holy Grail, the legendary chalice that was said to grant any wish. Having no interest in the grail he only joined to entertain himself

Bio: The Master of Saber during the 5th Holy Grail War. Shirou is a magus that specializes in sword creation. Shirou has no interest in the Holy Grail, and instead despises its use. However, he is determined to win the Holy Grail War with Saber for he hopes his efforts will ensure that another disaster like the Fuyuki fire, that was caused by the previous Holy Grail War, will never occur again. His Reality Marble, Unlimited Blade Works, is the greatest counter against Gilgamesh, who overwhelms other Heroic Spirits by having an infinite supply of Noble Phantasms, thus making Emiya Shirou his natural enemy.

EX Mode: Unlimited Blade Works - Instead of a normal costume change, Shirou's EX Mode changes the stage by projecting his Reality Marble, Unlimited Blade Works, on top of it. The surrounding landscape of the Reality Marble is a desolate, reddish brown wasteland dotted with countless weapons, most of which are swords. Example.

Bio: Yuri comes across as an sarcastic and cynical person, possibly due to the way the nobility treated the people of the Lower Quarter of his hometown as he prefers to solve the smaller problems from people rather than follow political large problems as he has had some extent of knowledge of the outside side world due to being a Imperial Knight for three months, but he is not afraid to take matters into his own hands such as taking the law itself into his hands but he is aware of what he has done and does worry at times, Yuri is also truly ambidextrous as a friend of his recommended he could wield a sword in one hand and an axe in the other, Yuri immediately declined straight-away.

Bio: Duke was an important figure in the Great War in which humans and the Entelexeia fought as he fought on the Extelexeia’s side and eventually won but some humans did not trust the Extelexeia and executed Elucifer, after this betrayal, Duke lost all faith in humanity and cut ties with them, becoming somewhat a recluse.

Okay, everyone, you're all in. Love your characters and choices. We can start now, if you want.

BIC: Harry and Lloyd looked around the area, they were at some kind of temple. "Lloyd, why do you think we were picked?" Harry asked, Lloyd looked at him and smiled. "Beat the bad guys, of course." "What are we after, after we beat them?" Harry asked. "I mean, some are very powerful. Can we really beat them?"

"Harry, don't worry," Lloyd said. "We'll beat them and head back to our homes. Simple as that." Harry was still unsure.

Mithos watched Harry and Lloyd walk through the temple, he smiled, his wings flapped softly. Behind him, not caring, was a young man who looked like Harry only with red blood eyes. "When do we strike, Mithos?" He asked, Mithos closed his eyes and said, "Patience, my partner. We will get our chance soon enough." The man stared at Harry and grinned, "Soon, Potter....."

 

Jaster scanned the area he was in with his rangefinder. "No signs of life," he thought, shouldering his blaster and moving forward. He saw a temple rising up in the distance, and having nowhere better to go, continued in that direction. He hadn't been in a good fight in a long time, and he knew he was a long way from home.
Returning his rangefinder upright, he said, "Might as well take part in this war. Mercenary at home, mercenary here."

 

Yuri walked as his sword hung loosely by his hand as he prefered to not strap it to his waist, he looked around as he placed a hand on his side. "Well, this is sure reminds me of the Capital, needs more decoration though..." He stated to himself, he was on some grounds which housed a castle which was very large in respect, reminding him of Zaphias, the imperial capital from which he lived in, he decided to recall what happened before he ended up here.

"Let's see, everyone went to fight and then we got seperated immediately, when I came to, I was alone here." He said to himself, he remembered some things, the male named Harry was surprised that almost everyone was different from himself and didn't use wands as he said he was a wizard, Yuri figured he was something similar to Rita Mordio since she was a mage but used incantations.

Lloyd was a swordsman who Yuri felt was similar to in some ways, he didn't know why but it just felt that way, almost like with him and Flynn, Shirou Emiya was something unexpected, he could pass off a civllian in his attire but Cosmos probably chosen him for a reason, then there was Jaster, he didn't know what to make of the man since he wore that armor practically all the time and used guns and then there was finally Cosmos herself.

Yuri could tell this woman or deity was something similar to a Extelexeia being except not a monster who spoke, if he had to even compare someone to her, she was like a mature Estelle except blonde.

"Well, I'll probably find someone eventually." Yuri said and continued ahead, not caring where his feet were taking him.

Duke stood at a tower as he stared up, seeing it extend into the heavens as he wondered where he ended up, all he remembered was the fight and his 'allies', he never truly considered them to allies in the first place, Voldermort was just someone who considered himself to be the best there was, Mithos felt sort of similar to himself but he never figured out why, Tor...he never really interacted with the man and finally Gilgamesh was...Duke had no words to describe him but never bothered too.

 

The golden haired king stood ontop of the sacred Ryuudou Temple and stared at the full moon above him with his hands in his pockets. His casual look truly hid his true self and power. Despite the start of the war he refused to dirty his hands fighting mongrels and thus his strength was never shown. "So the battle has restarted one again...don't fail to entertain me" Gilgamesh said. As he stared at the moon with his crimson red eyes, he pulled out one hand from his pockets as a glass of wine suddenly appeared beside him. He elegantly grabbed the glass and took a sip of the wine and closed his eyes with a smile "a wine truly worthy of a king" Gilgamesh said ignoring the so called allies near by

 

Harry stopped for a rest in a garden while Lloyd went on ahead, watching him leave, Harry thought about the battle from before. He sighed, remembering facing Voldemort for awhile before some man in a uniform attacked him. "Is something the matter, Harry?" A angelic voice asked Harry, he turned in surprise, Cosmos was standing beside him. "Cosmos....... Why did you choose me?"

"You must find the reason for yourself, do you not want to restore your world and see those dearest to you again?" she asked, Harry thought about it, those dearest to him.... The images of Ron and Hermione appeared in his mind, he smiled and nodded, seeing Lloyd come back. He turned to Cosmos, who vanished. He smiled and followed Lloyd along the path he found.

Voldemort walked up to Duke, not looking at the tower. "Duke, why don't you join with me and Mithos? Together, we each get the person we're after."

 

Jaster stopped, seeing two boys walking ahead of him. "Might as well follow them," he said. He walked quietly, not wanting to spook them. After following them for several minutes, his sensors picked up a third person approaching, too rapidly to be running. His audio sensors suddenly alerted him to the sound of a jetpack and he swore. Activating his own pack, he shot forward.
"Get down!" Jaster shouted at the boys, knocking both to the ground in time to avoid a line of blasterfire. As he got up, he turned, blaster ready, and looked up at the dark helmet of Tor.

 

Harry gasped when he saw the blasterfire and looked in the direction of the person who fired it. Lloyd looked in the same direction, then looked at Jester. "Thanks for the save."

 

Duke turned to hear Voldermort's words. "What business is it to you?" He asked the Dark Lord as his head turned to make eye contact with him.

Yuri kept walking until he heard something similar to blasterfire. "That's one way to get attention." He said as he bent down to a crawl, cautious to his surroundings.

 

"It's obvious that Cosmos picked someone you hate from your world." He said. "By joining me and Mithos, you can catch him and beat him. Besides, who I'm after is starting to doubt his skills."
