Kuja thought through his options.. "Ver well, let's us see if you plan will lure in Zidane." He said to Kefka.

 

Kefka began to laugh and then rested his arm on Kuja's shoulder "well if you want to capture the monkey your going to need bait to capture him" Kefka said with a grin

 

Jecht needed to find a way to meet with his son and settle the score with him.

 

Suddenly the emperor appeared beside Jecht "so tell me Jecht. What are your goals" The emperor said

 

"To settle the score against my wimpy crybaby son. What's it to you?"

 

"don't you seek an end to this conflict? To end all this endless fighting" Mateus asked

 

"What are you saying, man?"

 

"we will be reborn again to fight over and over for eternity. My plan can bring a conclusion to this war. Any father would try to end the fighting for their child" The Mateus said

 

"Not me and my kid."

 

Mateus began to laugh "As expected, the words of a brainless brute who cares about nothing but fighting" Mateus said

 

Jecht glared at him, annoyed by his laugh.

 

"if you truly care about your son you would try to seek an end for this war so he can move on with his life instead of this constant fighting" Mateus said

 

Jecht wondered what he was wanted, and only nodded.

 

Mateus looked at Jecht "if you seek freedom join me and my plan" Mateus said

 

"Fine, I'll join ya......"

 

"perfect. Your part in this fight is but an easy one. You cannot fight your son" Mateus said

 

Jecht grumbled a bit at that comment.

 

Mateus began to walk away "that is...until I say so. You will get that battle you seek but your son is not yet ready. He is filled with hatred of you. Hatred of the shadow you casted over him" Mateus said

 

"Not that I care about that."

 

Kuja had to argee on that line and he actually found hismelf surprised he was argeeing with Kefka for once.

"What should of bait would you suggest? iIf you have noticed, Zidane has a fellow rat along with him." Kuja said as a point of fact, from what he seen of Bartz so far before Cosmos's warriors were seperated from their last battle, he was an imitation of the other warriors by copying their weapons and create his own unique style as he was easily able to switch weapons with ease.

Sephiroth wondered about Jecht when Garland told him. "If I remember correctly, he is a close combat fighter who is brutal to no end with an endless combination of attacks with his fists, legs and his sword." Sephiroth commentated on his thoughts.

"Then, I assume that the one who took his place and his equal is...?" Sephiroth begun to ask Garland, he never actually fought with Jecht's son in their battles but from he saw of him briefly in their earlier clash, the young man used acrobatics and his unbelieveable energy with his swordsmanship, he had to commend on the boy's part of creating such a style.

Cloud looked at them. ""I want to know what our reason is, Cosmos...said we had to get the Crystals but she didn't say it would end the conflict." CLoud said, closing his eyes in thought.

Cecil looked thoughtful. "I suppose that is a very good question." He said and he heard Tidus said he wanted to settle things with his old man.

Cloud stared at Tidus. "Good for you, Tidus." He simply said.

Squall watched Zidane and Bartz leave as he started at the feather that was left behind in his hand. "A good luck charm...huh...how troublesome." He thought to hismelf and just pocketed it away ashe head off in his own direction.
