Onion Knight looked at him and smiled. "I will protect her."

 

"You know the path that lies before you. And the crystal lights the way to that which you seek." Golbez said as a green crystal appeared before Onion Knight

 

Onion Knight grabbed the crystal and sat with Terra.

 

Golbez had dissapeared when Onion Knight got his crystal. WHen Terra awoke she wouldn't remeber what happened

 

Onion Knight smiled and helped her walk along the path.

 

Cloud summoned the Buster Sword to his hand by way of Cosmos's magic andd swung his sword down, executing a Blade Beam towards Firion.

Zidane quickly used his reflexes and flipped over the Firaga as he ran across the wall and leapt at him, moving his daggers into another position he shot out a Free Energy.

~

Squall continued hsi walk, cutting through any manikins that came near as they were just cheap imitations of the real warriors.

"Lofty dedication to solitude? Makes it sound like a pretty big deal. But I AM on my own. I'll have to proceed with caution. There must be some pattern to the way they fight. I just have to figure it out..." Squall thought to himself as he let his feet carry him.

 

Bartz tried to find Zidane and looked around.

Onion Knight and Terra continued to walk.

 

Kefka dodged to the side in a goofy manner. The way things were going, Kefka was just wasting time

Warrior of Light noticed Squall up ahead "huh is that Squall? why is he alone?" Warrior of light said quietly as he began to walk towards him

Firion immediately casted shield bash, causing a shield to block the blade beam and send Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder magic at him

 

Squall heard footsteps. "Pulses of light... Someone's coming." Squall thought as he stood in the Crystal World and turned to notice the Warrior of Light.

"Wow...such a dazzling fellow..." Squall thought in sarcasm

Cloud immediately brought his Buster Sword to guard himself as Firion's magic striked it and Cloud quickly moved and jumped as he positioned the Buster Sword in front of hima as he performed Braver.

~

Zidane's daggers had soon connected to Kefka after careful timing and he watched as Kefka flew in the air and Zidane tossed his daggers as he performed Meo Twister upon him as he summoned them back.

 

"Are you by yourself?" Warrior of Light asked Squall as he stood infront of him

As Cloud preformed braver Firion charged an arrow and fired it

Kefka got knocked back but was still smiling in the air. He then squealed in excitement as balls of magic fell from the sky and bounced off the floor and headed to Zidane. Also the ball of firaga that Zidane threw earlier was closing in on him

 

Zidane was being surrounded. "Uh oh! Change of plans!" he immediately thought and connected hsi daggers into a doubled ended weapona s he twirled it. "FLY AWAY!" Zidane yelled out as he performed Stellar Circle 5, deflecting the attacks.

"Why does everyone ask me that?" Squall closed his eyes in thought and spoke. ""To obtain the crystal, each one of us must confront his real enemy. Cosmos told me that." He answered, staring at the Warrior of Light.

~

Cloud's Brave and Firion's arrow connected as the attacks were canceled out and the he went for a swipe as he came down, using gravity to his aid as well as the Buster Sword's weight.

 

Firion tried to pull out his lance but was too slow and got hit. he got knocked down and fell to the ground

"Cosmos did?" Warrior of light said surprised Cosmos would say such a thing


Kefka smirked and rushed towards him as he did Stellar Circle 5. The moment Zidane finished Kefka did a flip and sharp wings came out of his back shot out at Zidane

 

Zidane knew he couln't dodged it and was hit, sending him flying back into the wall. "Ow..." he got back on his feet and reaided hismelf.

"Isn't that why you're by yourself, too? I just want to get the crystal and get out." Squall said calmly, staring at Warrior of Light.

Cloud looked at him. "It's over." He said calmly.

 

Kefka stood there and grinned as he floated there "well then that was quite fun" Kefka said

"The enemy is not one but many. They have joined forces to defeat us. Should you not look for someone to guard your back?" Warrior of light said

"It's not...over yet" Firion yelled as his weapons suddenly floated straight at Cloud. The tip near his neck

 

Zidane jumped into the air. "You're not getting away!" As he was covered in purple energy as he performed Grand Lethal upon Kefka.

"Don't force your thoughts on me. Just stay out of my way." Squall thought to himself as he closed his eyes and opened them.

"I only have one goal." he stated as he drawn his gunblade, pointing it at the WoL ""I won't allow for distractions." He said clearly as he thought to himself. "I need that resolve to persevere." Squall thought to himself.

Cloud was in shock and he made the Buster Sword vanish, admitting defeat. "Not bad at all." he walked up to Firion and held out his hand.

 

"Like I said... I won't give up on my dream" Firion said taking his hand

Warrior of light CLosed his eyes as his sword and Sheild appeared and opened his eyes and looked at Squall "Why do you insist on fighting alone? Can you carve out your path without the help of others?" Warrior of light said

Kefak dodged and grinned. Zidane was just wasting time with Kefka, who knew what would have happened to Bartz

 

Bartz looked around for any one he knew and heard voices that weren't the ones he knew.

 

Cloud helped him up. ""Yeah. But... I can't be like you." He stated to him.

Squall ran at the Warrior of Light when the Gunblade it glowed blue briefly as Squall executed Rough Divide against the Warrior of Light.

Zidane stared at him. ""Just give it up already. I wanna know where Bartz is!" Zidane demanded from Kefka.

 

Kefka began to laugh "I'm afraid the mouse is... SMACK ...dab in the middle of enemy territory. Go look for him if you want, but you'll just be wasting your time" Kefka said and teleported away

Warrior of light sidestepped away while dragging his sword in the ground "bathe in the light" The warrior said as he shot pillars of light that followed him

"Why not?" Firion said confused

 

Kuja wandered around the area Bartz had woken up in with his fellow ally. "So now...where is that mouse you caught?" He asked Kefka.

Squall twisted his body around as fast as he could as spun the Gunblade in a full circle, executing Fated Circle as the two attacks met head on and cancel other out and he placed his gunblade near the ground as he spun it around and ran at the Warrior of Light.

"I've looked, but I'm still empty-handed. And without a dream, what do you suppose I should do?" Cloud asked him as he noticed his comrade's face being startled.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to confuse you." He said to him and turned around as he begun to walk off.

"Maybe what I'm looking for... isn't here..." He thought to himself
