    I honestly think they should just scrap the plot and go for the old fighting game approach of "There is a plot, but we won't bore you with the details". That way everyone will have an equal stardom, like how to me in Tekken 2 King will always be the main character because the plot wasn't in your face as it is nowadays lol.

    Does anyone know the release date for Europe? Just reading this thread has made me excited all over again. If it was the 4/1/11 then I may just have to go buy it.

    The European release date is 3/25/11. Oddly the NA release hasn't been announced yet and has only been stated that it will be released Spring 2011 :/

    It doesn't bother me that Lightning is on the front since I have much love for her but I wonder who will be at the front of the reverse cover. I assume they'll have a reverse cover since it worked nicely on the first game. xD

    I dunno if it's true, but I've heard Europe is to get a Special Edition. Anyone confirm that for me?

    And this better not be what happens to Lightning after she leaves in FFXIII Episode 1. I will rage for an eternity and a half! >|

    I don't know if it was stated in this thread but there's apparently going to be some sort of tournament thing within the game that looks to be 5 versus 5. Obviously there won't be ten character onscreen at once and I have no idea how it'll be played but for the hell of it I think we should start wondering who we'd stick in a team of 5.

    It's a little hard to see but there's your proof. << You can see five "face shots" of characters stacked up on one side and another five on the other side as well as a map selection screen.

    If there's a real choice of characters you get to pick, I'd go with...
    1. Cloud
    2. Firion
    3. Gabranth
    4. Laguna (for the hell of it)
    5. Kain or Lightning...or any other new character that hasn't been confirmed.

    Also instead of that EX Guard move you have when you break out of an attack using EX Mode, it'll be replaced by "EX Revenge" which does the same thing(and possibly more) but it takes up all the EX Gauge.

    Nearly double the music from the original game will be present in Duodecim as well. Dunno if that's been said here. <<

    So her default is Summoner, eh? Seems strange to me but we'll see.

    Also I think that just might be Tifa's extra costume in the bottom right corner, doesn't look like her VII gear entirely and it's definitely not ACC.

    EDIT: Yep, it's definitely an alt. It's Amano's Tifa.

    From what I heard her ex burst involves all the summons attacking at once but I don't know if it is official.

    My guess is that her ex mode is "Equip Nivana". If there is some sort of system special that involves a cost for Yuna's summons then her ex mode ability will most likely lowering the cost for summoning. They have been pretty creative with the new character so I wouldn't be surprised

    Also next weeks Famitsu will cover Yuna. Something interesting to note. During famitsu's article of a character the show a new character and the character from the same games alt(eg laguna squall and ultemecia had their alts revealed at same time). They also show a different games charater's alt costume (eg onion knight and CoD). Usually the the new character is fighting a character who hasent had their alt revealed (tifa fought gabranth in her article, vaan fought squall in his, laguna fought jecht or something like that). Most likely the character in the next scan that doesn't have his/her alt revealed will be the game that gets a new rep.

    I hope I didn't confuse anybody with this speculation. If I did just check out the famitsu articles

    Yuna, well, I never imagined her to appear in the game. A very nice surprise indeed! Myabe I'm being greedy, but I hope she isn't the last to be announced.

    I believe I seen an interview stating that a new SNES character will be revealed next. I believe it's still to early to reveal all the characters. They will probably reveal the final character near the games release
