Square-Enix Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy

Well Cosmos's warriors have 2 females now and Chaos has perhaps Terra and certainly Ultimecia but since Terra's avatar if you notice is in teh same directionas Cosmos's warriors so perhaps 012 will do an similar story of Terra being freed from the Slave Crown.

 

This game will be amazing.

The characters are great, the visuals are stunning, the plot is perfect for sequels and remakes galore, and to top it off the gameplay is one of the best i've ever seen from a FF game. No taking turns or navigating through gradually bigger menus like canon FF games. I can't wait to see if they'll anounce any new characters at the last minute.

Plus seeing Terra be freed from the slave crown would make for a good little quest.

 

Can't wait for this game, the first one was pretty cool but I never finished all stories :0 so lately I've been playing this game to death so I could finish it. ^^ I admit I didn't understand the controls at first but yea I really like this; So I'm guessing this one is going to be a sequel...

The thing that gets me going is now that Gabranth and Shantotto have been revealed in the trailer, they are obviously not "secret characters." Who will fill their spots? Im praying for noctis, although everyone knows that wont happen

Woooow, really? :\ Thanks a lot, Squeenix. The confirmed characters are all right, but predictable, and not terribly exciting besides. Kain's the only interesting newbie thus far. I was really hoping for some more VIII, IX, and X characters, but now it looks like that's not gonna happen. Great.

I'm also not looking forward to the assists. Without exception, strikers cheapen game-play. Prove me wrong.

I already had my reservations about this, but now there's a serious dent in my armor. I'm gonna hope this one's worth buying, but I'll have to see some reviews first. If the story sucks on top of all this, that'll just kill it for me.

 

Got some more screenshots, they're in Japanese but still some of them look pretty promising.

Out of those I think my favorite is the shot of Tifa kicking Sephiroth in the face.
Punching out Cloud is a close second. xD
But dear god the more I see of her fighting the more excited I am about this game, I'm rather interested to see the updates to the fighting system, even if it's different.
And Tifa's fighting style sounds interesting, I will definitely be using her as my main, I can tell that much now. xD

I wonder what kind of attacks Tifa is going to have. Btw I think the last shot is from the opening cutscene. ^^

 

The avatars also have new artwork as well.

English scenes means what Kuja's VA ws correct about them being well prepared in advanced for 012 Dissidia, still nothing of Vaan though, then again his VA could refer to Dissidia or Fortess where Ashe reappears again.

Tifa's also using her Ac outfit as evidenced by the screenshot as well as longer hair in her avatar, but Tifa's style sure seems to be a new concept and fun to play with, I don't know who my main players will be but in Dissidia, I used Squall mostly followed up by Zidane and Cloud well, he's the level that is on easy to handle.

 

Tifa looks AWESOME. Quite cool. Yay for Kain being in it. =3
Though the name is a mouthful....Hurrah for latin ruining game names. And making them....awesome. (Overuse of the word awesome.)

I read an article on a FFwikia, and it was saying there's a thought of KH characters in the upcoming FFD012 (Final Fantasy Dissidia Duodecim/012) and I was thinking about the possible moves for the characters. Like air attacks and such that Sora/other KH characters would have?

Who would they use? What is their story involvement?
Those kind of things. Leave our feedback.

@Uiriamu - Ithink Nomura doesn't want KH Characters in a FF game, though it would be pretty awesome. ^0^
I think they could put Ashe, Locke and Yuna in there.
Yuna could be a partnership with Tidus like from FFX, Locke with Terra, but Ashe....Lightning? XD This is all coming from the top of my head.
Plus those trailers are PLAIN EPIC, I'm getting myself all hyped up.

 

yeah, which is sad. because it would be just that epic. sora with trinity limit or a world lock finisher.
running around doing moves like ragnarok and instead of dashing he's fly. oh man that'd be sweet!

 

I think the closest we'll get to seeing anything Kingdom Hearts related is seeing a weapon or item that makes a reference to one of the games...

...unfortunately, this isn't saying much considering all of the Kingdom Hearts games have references to the final fantasy games...
