Square-Enix Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy

@Terra, I clicked "I'm a master" because I was curious as to what would happen, I didn't expect to be fighting Feral Chaos, well needless to say he owned me within a few seconds O.o

Since the quest creation is a huge part of the create and share game archetype (much like Little Big Planet), is there a way to share quests that you create?

The game doesn't give you that option in the game itself, I think there's a way to solve this. When you save a quest, it creates a saved file, what you can then do is copy that file on your computer and post it to the internet and forums to share your quest with others.

I'm sure there can be some setbacks. I believe that the biggest is different regions. I think you can only play a quest if it was created by a player who has the same region version of the game. For example, a game made by a NA gamer can only be played by other NA gamers.

I'm thinking of starting a thread that lets others post their custom quests, but before I do, can someone check if this method works? It would be a great way to show the creativity of gamer's thoughts and ideas for a story.

 

I was actually thinking of doing something similar...but I really wanna finish the story first :3

but I am all for this idea.

I am sure if we used a megauploader type site or something it would work really good.

I'm actually working on a custom quest as we speak. I'm calling it "Saga XIII". The story will follow an original story centered around Lightning and her quest to stop a being that can mimic anybody's appearance and fighting style. It's no masterpiece, that's for sure. My best field of work is video editing, not writing a story.

I'll be creating more quests with the same style of name: "Saga (number of game)". If people recognize the quest I'm currently working on, I'll make more. I'm thinking of making "Saga X" after I'm done with "Saga XIII".

I'll post a download link to this page so that people can test it.
One more thing, I'm from Europe, so for all the American gamers, it will be a good test to see if these custom quests are multi-regional.

 

so i just got finished with the new story with this game. honestly, this game felt more like a "Final Mix" game rather than a proper prequel to me. am i the only one who felt that the new story lacked any importance with the story at all? don't get me wrong it was still a fun ride though.

also, now that i finished with the new story, is there a point to finishing the old story again? do you get anything out of it?

 

Equipment and items, more chances to level up the characters that aren't maxed out yet?

 

And a better look at the old story due to the nifty new World Map system that was lacking in the original?

Is it me or is Dissidia's cycles kinda like when choosing a team in a sport among friends? It's like at the start of every cycle Chaos and Cosmos have every Final Fantasy character line up and shout names until they get the maximum amount

allows them to have. The 13th cycle is basically when they all have to go home for tea.

 

i like these costumes. $3 is a little steep for just one costume though.

it also seems like the warriors have some "say" as to which team they want to be in as well. really weird way to pick teams.

 

WoL has a helmetless alt costume on NA PSN.

btw, the schedule for the NA DLC is still being updated so there is a really good chance that we will get all the DLC that Japan is getting.

also...I hope they release a Yuna alt costume like the outfit she wore in X-2 i feel the wedding dress alt is just weird.

 

So... here I am, a few days ago...
I got the legacy edition of Dissidia and did all the mumbo jumbo to set it up, I entered my code to get my two costumes for Tifa and Squall... and yet... they don't seem to exist in game.
I've tried downloading them multiple times and yet, they don't come up as costume options for the characters.
Anyone else have this problem?
And does anyone know how I can fix this?

 

i have that costume as well. it reminds me of Xemnas actually because of the hair style XD

do you happen to know where we can see this schedule? i'm trying to figure out how to get Squall's KH costume for NA.

i also hope for the X-2 outfit for Yuna, and i actually like the wedding dress costume for Yuna :)

sounds like the problem i had for my Dark Cloud preorder bonus. i don't know if it's the same issue for you but here's what i did. if you're on custom firmware and using psnlover, don't use that to download your DLC costumes. if you have a PS3 re-download it there (and then transfer it to your PSP), or you can download a program from Sony's website called "media go". that allows you to access the Playstation Store and also your downloads, so redownload the DLC there and then use Mediago to transfer to the Memory Stick. after i did that, my KH1 costume for Cloud works, oh and my Aya Brea costume for Lightning :D hope that helps. apparently psnlover causes the DLC costume to be activated for a non-existent account instead of your account.

 

Hey! does anyone have a spare dark cloud code? I'm willing to trade my 50% off Final Fantasy voucher for it because I have the legacy edition and it came with it. PM (private Message) me if you want to talk trade. Or.. If you trust me.. Lend Me your psn account and let me download the costume and then ill swap back to my account. I SWEAR!! The only thing I want is the costume. I would kill polititions for it! After I download the costume I'll tell you and you can change the password so i can't get anything else.

I downloaded it, connect my PSP and try to copy it over, but it says my PSP is on a different account, despite the fact that both of them are on the same email address... :/

 

that makes 2 of us loving it. to be honest, the costume was probably the biggest thing that attracted me into buying the game XD i found it is a good game by the way.

i got that message saying that the content was activated on another account as well, but it was referring to the one i downloaded using psnlover. i got that message when copying it over from Media Go but it worked anyway.


on another note i have a question for anybody. how do you perform Tifa's feint attacks? i can see the computer faking me out all the time and owning me because i blocked the feint. however, i cannnot for the life of me figure out how it's done. any help please?

i saw a few unused Dark Cloud codes for sale on ebay. however they are OVERPRICED and it's possibly a scam. i know how you feel, i wanted that costume badly as well which is the only reason i preordered the game from Gamestop. normally i wouldn't even think about preordering games. but sorry, i'm not swapping accounts with anybody because i do have the credit card info saved and all. but good luck on the search. if it's any consolation, usually preorder exclusives are available at a later date for everyone. though i found you usually have to wait a month at the least.

 

Media go hasn't worked either...
I try to transfer and it says that an error happened during the transfer...
So basically.
I'm thinking I've lost my DLC costumes forever.
