Dissidea: The Final Battle

"Dante. So you're here. What a heartwarming reunion" Vergil said to his twin in a cold, sarcastic tone. He drew his katana and several glowing blue blades began to encircle him. He charged at his brother and swung his blade, aiming for his vital organs. Of course being half demon, that wouldn't kill him, but it'd injure him more severely.

 

MArht reacted instictevly. Not thinking hard enough, he stupidly tried to parry the blow.

 

"Don't interfere!" Vergil said as a few of the blades encircling him flew at Marth.

Dark Link's invisible smile took a wicked, sardonic turn as he watched the battle, not partaking. None of them were him, and he would not fight until he showed himself. Link, however, appeared above his shadowy counterpart, both hands on his sword as he dropped down as the point faced downward. Hearing the signature "hah!", Dark Link looked up and could hardly grin with malicious glee. Taking his shadow shield, he swung it as he leaped back, parrying the blow and countering with a swing himself. Link's eyes widened and he quickly brought his shield up, accepting the force of the blow as he fell. The Hero fell into a roll as he landed, coming back up and glaring at Dark Link.

The two stared for a brief moment at each other, and they both charged forward, clashing.

The battle was on...

 

Dante smirked as he hastily moved out the way of the two different blades, especially Vergil's. He knew his brother was alot more lethal than the kid that tried to attack back. "Now, now. There's no need to fight over me, you two. There's plenty of me to go around" he said, being his usually playful self before glancing over at the one with blue hair "But, Vergil has a point. You're no match for him, kid. Leave him to me" Dante told him, wanting to fight his brother with no interruptions.

 

Sonic approached the Chaos warriors, but only one of them stood out from the others: Shadow. Sonic confronted his dark-colored counterpart, anger in his eyes. "Shadow, why are you working for Chaos? Don't you know what'll happen if he wins!?" He asked, hoping to get his comrade to come with him. But Shadow only gave a small smirk. "You really think that I wanted to be in this situation? I was forced into this just like you. Unfortunately, it made us become adversaries. Besides..." Shadow said as he removed his wristbands, "I like this new power!" He said as he dashed at Sonic and swung his fist at his face. The punch hit Sonic head-on, knocking him back. "Shadow, please!" Sonic yelled hoping to stop his friend. Shadow ignored his friends plea and followed up with a kick to the gut, knocking Sonic back more. Sonic, sitting in pain from Shadow's attacks, stood up and clenched his fists. "Fine, if this is the way you want it, I'll fight you. But I won't hold back!"

Marth, Weakend, saw the opportunity. "Link!" he yelled. He had breifly met the young hero when the world was absorbed by subspace.

 

Dante smirk returned as he looked back over at Vergil as he raised Rebellion "Guess it's just you and me now, eh, Verg?" he said before lowering rebellion down "Let's just skip the family reunion and go back to where we left off when we were at Temen Ni Gru. What do you say?" Dante added with a slight shrug of his shoulders

 

"With pleasure" Vergil said, wearing a similar smirk. He placed a hand on Yamato which was aligned with his sheath. He seemingly vanished and appeared behind Dante, flashes of light from the reflection of his sword followed behind him from the incredible speed of his attack.

 

The two hedgehogs fought valiantly with eachother, not backing down no matter what beating they took. Sonic spun into a homing attack and flew at Shadow, who countered it with a homing attack of his own. "You've gotten better, Sonic. Too bad it's not good enough." Shadow said on recovery. He leaped into the air and took out a Chaos Emerald, the usual Green one. "Chaos Control!" He called as he performed his trademark time-slowing technique. Shadow landed on the ground. Everything around him was moving incredibly slow. Everything from the battle between Dante and Vergil to the battle between Link and Dark Link. Shadow smirked as he ran up to Sonic, who was frozen in time, and began to beat on him. There was no reaction from Sonic, as Chaos Control was still in effect, but when Shadow finished, he stepped away, snapped his fingers and came back to the regular time flow. As Shadow stood, a smirk on his face, Sonic took a light-speed beating, which ended with him flying back a couple feet. Sonic, not wanting to give up, struggled to his feet, bloodied and bruised. "Shadow...I-I Don't know what's come over you...But I won't let you win this. Not as long...As you're siding with Chaos." Sonic said, a pained tone in his voice. Sonic then ran at Shadow, and began beating on him like Shadow did to Sonic. He finished with his "Blue Tornado" move, which sent Shadow flying into a pillar. Shadow stood up and looked to Sonic. "You just don't know when to give up, do you? Fine." Shadow said as his hands began to glow.

Marth saw Shadow about to strike and he reacted.

 

Dante smirked when he saw that Vergil was using his speed to his advantage. Sensing his brother's demonic energy from behind him, Dante quickly turned around and met his brother's blade, Yamato, with his own blade causing sparks to fly. Taking this opportunity to draw one of his guns, Ebony, the silver haired devil pulled the trigger multiple times. At this close proximity, there was no way he could miss.

 

Sora summoned his keyblade, and glanced around for someone to fight, none of these bad people looked like heartless.
Then something Caught his eye, Shadow and Sonic going at it, and saw the darker hedgehog's hands glow. That can't be good, Sora thought, and raised his keyblade, "AERO!" he shouted, casting a wind spell on Sonic, forming a sheild out of air for the blue hedgehog.

 

Shadow noticed a blue-haired swordsman come after him, and he grabbed the sword by the blade when in came at him. "Oh, please. Your weapons stand little chance against the power of Chaos!" Shadow said as he pushed the blade away. Just then, Sora gave the recovering Sonic a wind shield to protect him. Sonic looked back at Sora and gave him a thumbs up. "Thanks!" He said before turning back to Shadow. "Alright, Shadow, it looks like you're outnumbered, 3-to-1. You've lost." Sonic said. Shadow chuckled before looking at Sonic's comrades. "Come now, do you believe you're a match for one who can harness the power of the Chaos Emeralds to their full potential?" Shadow said as he raised himself into the air with his jet-shoes. "While I do think you three are less than a match for me, I believe the score should be evened out." Shadow said as he turned to his dark comrades. "You two, help me with these fools." Shadow said, pointing to the Black Knight and Zant.

 

Garrus watched the battle unfold, then he decided that he needed to get up close and personal with these people. He ran up to Sora's side. "Need any help?"

 

Sora glanced back at Garrus, "yeah, umm... you're Garry, right?" he said, glancing around, Dante's already refused help, Sonic looks like he's got enough back up, unless thoose other Chaos guys jump into the fray, And Link looked to be evenly matched with his dark twin, he thought quickly, then turned back to Garrus, "what's that thing that you're holding? Is it like a gunblade?" he asked, already begining to form an idea in his mind.

 

Garrus held his Mantis Sniper Rifle. "I don't know what a Gunblade is, but this is a Mantis Sniper Rifle... why?" Garrus asked, suspecting that the boy was forming a plan.

 

"sniper... like the nobody," Sora mused to himself for a moment, then his face went all happy, eyes wide, one finger up in the air, "I've got it!" he shouted, pointing at a ledge on one building, about six feet off the ground, "get up there and use your Mantis Sniper-blade thingy to fire spells on the Chaos guys!"

 

Garrus thought he'd seen, heard and smelt everything...
... obviously, he was wrong. "Err... Right." Deciding not to question Sora, he went up to the building, and scoped Shadow. "Hmm, just need him to get in the right place..." Garrus was talking to himself, no one knows why, but thats not important. The important thing is that he's about to snipe Shadow.

 

Sora cast another spell, this one aimed at Dark Link, "THUNDER!!!" he cried, holding his keyblade up in the air like a lightning rod, and shooting a bolt of thunder into the sky, which came down at Dark Link.
