Awh. I thought the japanese Tokyo Mew Mew was cute.
The english version was totally butchered.

I've never really been dissapointed with anime, Im pretty much open to all titles. Except for the no-plot all fanservice anime >.<

I had high hopes for Devil May Cry, but it disappointed me.

    As did Naruto Shippuuden.

Anything 4KIDS dubs is hell and Hollywood Mew Mew is an example of their butchering put in second next to 'their' One Piece and then third is 'their' Yu-Gi-Oh and fourth is 'their' pokemon (Note how in all of these shows they dubbed that japanese references and the original music has been removed and plenty of names were changed or mis pronounced Ichigo to Zoey is sad beyond belief but Zoro's rice balls becoming cookies was unnecessary.

The Tweeny Witches, which we are watching at the anime club. To me, it's just really dull.

I was also a little disappointed in Gunparade March. It wasn't a bad show but I expected something like a bit of a darker plot and more actions (especially because of the aliens) but most of it seemed to scream, "High School!" to me.

The english versions of "Tokyo Mew Mew", "Yu-Gi-Oh", "Pokemon" and even though it's just started...Something tells me "Death Note" in english might be rather disappointing.

Totally...although Pokemon at first wasn't that bad...oh, and the English version of Sailor Moon was also quite disappointing...as was Death Note...I mean, I've heard so much about it but it's just...not that interesting...after the first manga volume it just gets less...intriguing...

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on Death Note... I haven't seen any of the anime, but I LOVE the manga... (partially because of the similarities between L/Raito and Holmes/Moriarty lol)

I really don't like Naruto. Their voices are really annoying. And Bleach is a bit boring to me.

I like D.N.Angel and Death Note, though.

Not many people have heard, but...

Pokemon was good at first. But then they decided to kill it by going past its prime. It was interesting all the way up to the Hoenn arc. Then they decided to change all their voice actors/actresses, add in hundreds of new Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl, and basically went into overkill. I mean, sure Ash is the main character and all. But after losing in the finals for the umpteenth time...I swear, I've stopped watching it after they changed networks.

Digimon was okay. Until they decided to go into alternate realities with each season. The first two at least had connections. Afterwards, it was as if they were trying to make it as popular as Pokemon. I lost interest after the fourth season. You can only "digivolve" in so many ways.

Love Hina was disappointing in the fact that they never actually had any closure. The producers ran out of budget and decided to end it without resolving anything. Keitaro never realized who his promise girl was, he and Naru flew off into the sunset right after her big confession. I'm sorry, but it made me cry and depressed for weeks when I realized that they would never finish all the way to the last volume in the manga. Sure, there was the audio drama, but that didn't tie anything up either. In the end, Keitaro ends up with his promise girl, but never knows about it. And Naru ends up kicking the crap out of him with affection, but never realizes that they were meant to be together.

And finally my rant ends with the Negima! Magister Negi Magi series. The producers decided to play it safe this time around and end up with one-season series. Nothing gets resolved. I mean, sure they end up killing off a main character and bringing her back to life, but nothing else happened. They expanded one-shot chapters into their own episodes (which they should've done in the first place to extend the life of the series) and condense other story plots (three volumes of manga condensed into a two-part episode). And now they decide to do remakes of the series that has almost nothing to do with the original manga. The second series was kinda weird in a cute, but disturbing way. And currently, they're going with a live-action series. It's deplorable, I tell you! They make a girl play a ten year-old boy, the familiar ermine a freakin' patch, and the entire cast looks nothing like their manga or anime counterparts! It's gonna end up like the live-action Sailor Moon series all over again.

    - English Naruto.

    - Bleach anime. I loved the manga, but the anime just couldn't hold my interest. (And speaking as someone who watched every single filler episode of Naruto, I think we can say it doesn't take much to keep me watching. >_<) I can't even say why I didn't like the Bleach anime in either language.

    - Japanese Fullmetal Alchemist: Alphonse's seiyuu sounded far too feminine. Yes, he is voiced by a female, but at least Edward's seiyuu made the effort to sound masculine.

    - Japanese Yu Yu Hakusho: Same problem as stated before, except this refers to the character of Kurama.

    - Rurouni Kenshin: The fact that the anime added (at least) two characters that don't exist in the manga... *twitch* (the doctor has no grandchildren, I'm sorry to point out to any fans)

...I think I'm done... for now, at least.

    Well to me:
D.N. Angel the thing that killed it for me was that I just couldn't get into it, sure the plot seemed all right but I don't know if never caught my interest, and so it disappointed me, plus some of the voice actors got annoying.

Naruto sure when I first heard about it I was all pumped but then I have people reading the manga around me, and people watching the subbed version and they sucked the fun out of it. When I did get around to watching it though I couldn't stand Naruto's English VA.

Pokemon yeah it was great when I was about what 7? I mean some of the arcs did have their reasonable amount of 'stuff' to keep me entertained but then after you go past the Hoenn(sp?) I just lost it from there.

Other than that there's Tokyo Mew Mew, Yu-Gi-Oh, and the English version of Sailor Moon, not to mention Negima! and Spiral, no closure I tell you...

AND Inuyasha sure after a couple of parts of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's rivalry I got hooked, but then came the fillers...

I both agree and disagree with you

khcrazy101 The English was like the most horrible of DiC(now thats BAD and i think it is now 4Kids)
The Cloverway dub was slightly better on my taste but still did not reach standards and the Japaneise i thought was cute :) *Sorry about what i said*
