Disney Reveals Kingdom Hearts Event at Japanese D23

    Fresh of the heels of D23 held in Anahiem, CA, Disney has announced more detailed plans for Kingdom Hearts at the expo's Japanese counterpart. The "Kingdom Hearts Premium Theater Event" will be held on November 3rd, once from 13:00-14:30 JST and a second time from 16:00-17:30 JST, and will feature special guests as well as the latest footage for the Kingdom Hearts series. ​

      KH3. I don't believe there's anything else in the series to promote (except Unchained X[chi], but that comes out in Japan in September, two months before D23)

      Not entirely relevant to the KH discussion, but if you look at the glass sphere in the icture, you can see Oswald in it. Wonder if it's foreshadowing anything for Disney?

      True. The Aristocats--Marie in particular--are crazy popular in Japan, nearing Frozen levels. Oswald, though, hasn't really been used by Disney since the Epic Mickey games.

      A full 90 minutes of Kingdom Hearts stuff. Definitely sounds big; hopefully it lives up.
      Also noticing Chip and Dale, but not in their Gummi uniforms from the series.
