Kingdom Hearts II Discussion of Secret Ending

I really like that idea of Ven placing his heart inside Roxas. It's very plausible since we have the situation with Kairi and Sora. This could help explain why Roxas looks like Ven; their hearts inside one body morphed his appearance, or maybe even his personality, the same way that Kairi was able to speak to Sora through the other's heart.

I understand that he wouldn't have been able to merge with Sora if he wasn't his Nobody, but what if he was Sora's Chaser? If there is some truth to what most people have been saying (that Chasers are the third being listed among Heartless and Nobodies) then couldn't Roxas still merge with Sora even if he wasn't his Nobody?

Dudes. In the Final Mix preview thing, I hav a question. When Ven is frozen and Aqua is holding his body, it zooms in on his face. I swear if you watch, his eyes move. How???Did anyone else C them move???

Roxas should be able to merge with Sora whether he’s a traditional Nobody or not. There has been doubt about whether Namine was truly a Nobody, but she was still able to join with Kairi. I don’t know if Namine was a creature of Memory (Mind/Soul), or just some really bizarre incident of Kairi’s pure heart coming out of Sora’s body, but either way she was able to return.

Roxas could be a strange hybrid too. But he’s enough of Sora to return to Sora. And what if there is a further link between Sora and Ven? Perhaps Sora is a reawakening of Ven. What if the Room of Awakening deals in rebirth?

On a separate issue: let’s say that the ghost of Terra that we fight in FM2+ is the Memory of Terra, after his body was taken over. What would happen if this Memory tried to merge with either Xemnas or Xehanort’s Heartless?

 

Well if that merging happened, there would probably be a conflict between his bad guy personality and his good guy memories.

However, there's another problement with this idea of chasers being made of memories : how could they weild keyblades if they don't have hearts ?

 

Roxas had a keyblade and he was a nobody. Dont nobobys not have hearts?

 

As I said, there's an explanation for Roxas having emotions and being a Nobody : the fact that his former heart is not trapped in darkness. Sora's heart is intact and still has emotions, and its link with Roxas allows him to use a keyblade. If we think the Lingering Sentiment is Xehanort's "Chaser", his memories, then it's impossible he could use a keyblade, since his heart remained a Heartless and was never freed.

 

Oh yea. Never thought of that.

Ive been thinking and I decided that they wouldn't kill Ven like that. I heard on a different Web that he is involved with Sora and Roxas, (er...95% chance of it) If he's so deeply involved, they wouldn't just kill him would they?

Yea, I guess they could. but do u think they would right away? Like, this final mix thing says he got frozen right off. that's ONE peak at the game and he managed to live through getting frozen, injected with the black stuff, fall off a cliff and possibly shatter a bit in the process. He managed to LIVE. I don't think they want him dead.

Back to what kanji was saying about the conflict between the two if they merged, wouldn't that explain why Xehanort had brown eyes, since he was a good guy mixed with a bad guy. To me, it seems the brown eyes means exactly that. I looks like I'm going to have to change my theory a little...

 

It's like his thing.

I just think he hasn't involved himself with the darkness until his eyes have turned gold.

I still believe that Terra has the ability to use light and dark.

Though, I don't think it's safe to say that Ven and Aqua can do the same...

We most likely know that Terra can use both: What is that, twilight/dawn, right?

Aqua and Ven: We don't know, so we'll put them under light.

Baldy:... Dark all the way...

... which paths did Aqua and Ven come from?

 

What if Xehanort's Heartless was the heart of Baldy? When the mind switch happened, Xehanort could have been Baldy's memories and heart with Terra's body. Baldy's body probably died or became a dusk, while Terra's memories and heart became the Lingering Sentiment. So Terra's heart wouldn't be engulfed in darkness.

I'm not going to push the idea that Chasers are the third being. I believe Chaser is the name of the people who created the Keyblades. The third being may have a different name, like Dis-Soul. (That may be a letter scramble.)

Maybe Nomura hadn't come up with the idea of Ven being in Sora yet. I don't think the "Ansem isn't really Ansem" thing was originally planned either. Nomura has stated that "half was thought up back in the first game, another half was thought up once we started working on KHII." (Ctrl+F "One of the surprises") So there's room for some things to not match up.

Interesting. But I'm confused. Sora IS Ven's armor? Or he has it? It's there but we just can't see it? It's in him like Kairi's heart was?

How far are you pushing "haven't met before"? Ven isn't Roxas, but one of them could be a part of the other. Same with Terra. Do you believe that Terra and Xehanort probably aren't the same person?

Twilight Town exists between the light and dark realm, so it's residents would fall between light and dark. The original characters for that world could be brown by majority. Hayner and Pence have brown eyes. Olette's are green. I would disregard Seifer and his gang, since they are based in different games. Profile pictures. Maybe that will help.
