Kingdom Hearts II Discussion of Secret Ending

The whole theme of fate and the similarities between the three knights and the Destiny Islands trio can build up to the fact that Sora, Kairi and Riku and the successors of Ven, Aqua and Terra, bound to relive their history. Going from there, it would be logical that the keyblades are some kind of legacy, a weapon that's passed from master to master. The fact that Mickey has the Dark Realm Kingdom Key maybe has to do with the fact that Kairi has only been a damsel in distress so far : if she develops her potential (and she has a lot of it, since she's a Princess, with a very pure and strong heart), she may be chosen by a keyblade.

The fact that Terra picks up Sora's keyblade may indeed be explained by the fact that Riku was originally meant to use it, and that he seems to be Terra's successor.

 

ready i have some crazy theorys. Maby Baldy did posses someone like someone said i forgot who but i dont think he posses Terra. Maby Baldy possed axel since Sora just left him there fading slowly. Baldy could have found axel and taken over his body.
Another theory is maby Ven is sora. What if Sora grew up and changed his name sorta like riku did when he became Ansem and didnt want to be found

EDIT2:O.K new theory. Everyone is saying that the kingdom hearts that baldy created is fake but i disagree. Now i ahve some things You need to rember. Rember when you first entered TWTNW there was a gold kingdom hearts with a blue aura. Also rember that xemnas was still feeding kngdom hearts hearts. Now after the heart shower kingdom hearts was pink and black wiht a gold aura. Maby if xemnas finished kingdom hearts it would be all blue. Is there a possiblity Baldy completed kingdom hearts?

I don't think that Baldy had completed Kingdom hearts, since he wouldn't have been able to collect hearts very well without the heartless being created yet. Additionally, Xemnas was almost done creating his KH, and it was only a bit blue.
We can then assume, that the KH in the secret video was incomplete.

But, I don't really think that. I think that the colour Orange is supposed to represent darkness, as the colour blue is supposed to represent light.

One think I'd like to point out before I continue is that light is not necessarily good, and darkness is not necessarily bad. A bad guy could use light to do evil, just as a good guy could use darkness to do good.

Attached below is a picture of the colour wheel. You can see that Blue and Orange are opposites on the colour wheel. Just as they are opposites, Light and dark are opposites. It seem that Nomura has put the constitution of each character in their eyes. We have seem that when characters become closer to the darkness, there eyes become more and more orange.

Also, good guys have blue eyes: Sora, Kairi, Ansem the wise (in the past), Aqua, Ven, and Terra (before they go orange). Additionally, more than half of the organization members have blue eyes.

Riku's eyes are a special case. In the first game, during the opening clip, you can plainly see that his eyes are blue. They stay this way for most of the game. This is before he starts to be evil and is still considered of the light. In the second picture, Riku's eyes have become a yellow-green colour. If you look on the colour wheel again, you can see that directly between Blue and Orange, is yellow-green. This signifies that he is in between light and darkness. He is good now, but he has chosen to walk the path in between light and dark.

Similarly to Riku, another special case in the series is Xehanort. Xehanort has brown eyes. He is the only person with brown eyes in the series. Statistically, brown eyes are more common than blue eyes, therefore leaning to a deeper significance. Brown eyes mean a similar thing as the green eyes, yet are very different. They mean his is undecided between the light and dark. This is different that what Riku is because Riku choose both, but Xehanort hasn't chosen. Brown eyes show potential for light and darkness. The colour brown is the mixture of all three primary colours: Red, blue, and yellow. Red an yellow are mixed together to form orange, and if you then mix blue in you get brown. Xehanort is a mix between light and dark at the time he was an apprentice.

So, as you can see, the eyes represent the light and darkness in a person, just as blue represents light and orange represents darkness.

 

Intersting about how riku is yellow green and how you said he was in the middle. At the end of Rikus story in chain of memories he picks the middle path which is twilight or dawn while the other paths are light and dark. Also hence why rikus keyblade is way to the dawn

so our conclusion is Terra can use both light and darkness. So he can use hes darkness powers sorta like how riku became ansem by releasing the darkness inside him

Terra being able to use both light and darkness. This could be true. I believe we don't know if Baldy is influending Terra or not. But I think it's still a high possibility that Terra is able to use both light and dark.

 

Right. I can't believe I didn't notice this before... okay, so Terra picks up Sora's keyblade, and he has the one he has in Birth by Sleep. Ven ACTUALLY HAS the keyblade he has in Birth by Sleep tucked away under his arm, and Aqua is carrying the one she has in Birth by Sleep as well.

Great, everybody probably knew that...

 

Guess what time it is? Crazy theroy time! Yeay!!!! O.K we all know that ansem the wise killed himself when he zapped Kingdom Hearts with that machine that saved Riku. Maby he didnt die. What if he was joined with kingdom hearts and could use its power. I mean like you dont see Sora goin" Getting to Kingdom Hearts is to hard. (creates ball of energy throws it up into sky and Kingdom Hearts appears). There we go." I rest my case

Its that time again. Theory time!! If mickeys keyblade is from the dark relm does that mean that star seeker is from light relm? Many people are saying that the crossroads are where the knights and Baldy fight. If KH3( I know its not called that) is a prequel tghen maby the after the battle the crossroads grew grass and became the crossroads we know now

Its very possible that the crossroad is when they fight. But im not all that sure...

 

passing thought, but is it possible that since it's at the crossroads, could the battle represent the internal struggle between good and Evil? maybe...

 

Did anyone notice that Way to the Dawn is Soul Eater with an angel wing. This could represent how Riku uses light and darkness. Also when rikus eyes are coverded are they green or orange?

 

Thoughts

Personally I think that the secret ending to Kh2 final mix is pretty awesome on the graphics but is it just me or does it feel like there's no weight to the characters? I mean I watched LOTR the other day and it felt like the characters where there and they have some weight to them. In this video it felt like they didn't have much weight and ripped apart the illusion for me :( Does anyone else feel this way?

 

Hmm, Ya, I know what you mean. But is it even possible for them to have any wieght? I mean, we know absolutly nothing about them besides that scene and their names. I mean, they don't even talk in it, so it's impossible for the characters to have much impact. I think it would have helped alot if we could just hear them gasp and sceam. Yet this is impossible, since they have no voice acters. It may have been a good idea to get them in advance.

Good question. I think that they were green, since at the time he wore the blindfold, he had decided to walk the middle path. In fact, that is the time he starts to wear the blindfold.

 

Me and my friend talked about the ending. I can't wait till' KH3. Its going to be great... :D

 

Yes, I remember exactly in the end of he game. Riku takes off his blindfold and his eyes lied. They were definitly green. Maybe I can get Roxllen to make a still of it.

Voice actors. Why would it help if they gasped or screamed?
