Hmm, maybe, I can't remeber. I don't think they had anything to do with Aqua and Ven, though.

 

Xehanort is the older brother of Larry.

Xehanort was a strong fighter. Chosen by the Keyblade by the age of seven, learned all of the abilities by the age of ten, and by the age of thirteen he became the strongest fighter in their family.

One day, Xehanort decided to test his abilities and killed all of their family.
He pitied Larry(who was only 7 at the time) and let him escape.

Larry began to despise Xehanort. And on that very day. he promised himself that he would kill Xehanort.

 

Riiiiiiight....And when poor little Larry saw Xehanort standing among the bodies of his family members, the cold-blooded killer said to him...

Except there's a problem, Xehanort's eyes are yellow, not red, and I haven't seen any dots in them.

All jokes aside, how did you come up with this ? I mean except for the eyes, I don't see anything that could inspire this comparison.

I just noticed something, but I'm not sure if it's real or not. Was Fenrir (the keyblade) in the secret ending? You can see it's bulkiness in several screenshots. If someone could get me an accurate picture, I'd appreciate it!!

If this is actually Fenrir, it could help with a timeline. Well, maybe....What do you guys think? It could at least prove that Cloud will be in the next game....

 

Well knowing Nomura he will still involve Cloud in KH. Cloud is possibly the most famous FF character. And as for fenrir I saw that too. I know other people have, so that is pretty good proof that it is fenrir in the secret ending and maybe even the next game. And unrelated to what twilit_shadow said those keyblades that the three soldiers have don't have key chains. I have heard people say that since there are no key chains those aren't keyblades. BS!!!!!!! They could just be what the keyblade looks like with out keychains.

You're right, just because they have no keychains, doesn't mean they're not keyblades. The discription of the kingdom key is something like, "the keyblades true form." maybe, without a keychain, the keyblade looks like it's 'true form."

 

well, i've noticed there are alot of Fenrirs, sleeping lions and Follow the winds everywhere, with different colours. Thats getting quite interesting trying to find all of them:)

 

Maybe they just look like they are different colors because of the lighting. Like how the ES in the first KH2 secret ending didn't look like he had colors but in the battle against him it was easier to see his color.

 

A keychain is an accesory addition that can be added to a keyblade to give it boost, if you will. (i.e. a Blizzaga Keychain = Blizzaga boosted Keyblade)

So of course, if they don't have Keychains it does not mean that they are not Keyblades. Last time I checked, the Keyblade was always in its true form... meaning they look the same, save for the Keychain that adds to the power and the added shinyness. Other then that, the Keyblade itself doesn't morf or change forms physically.

 

To say that a keyblade without a keychain is fake is even more speculative than most theories. The only thing to back it up is that the keyblades of the protagonists all have keychains. But as far as I'm concerned, keeping to the etymology, it's just a key that can be used as a blade. After that, it's only speculation, hopefully we'll learn more with the next game.

 

Exactly. Of course it's still a Keyblade, with or without a Keychain. I remember discussing this a long pages away ago. Even though I never really understood how a key could be used as a blade... If a key could be used other then to open doors/locks and it somehow is turned into a weapon... what's keeping Square/ the Keyblades from giving/having another ability... It wouldn't be a suprise if they did do something other then unlocking and shanking.

A Key turned into a blade... sure enough it could do something else... right?

It would be fun to hear more about the history of the keyblade, and its origin. I think that it could be a weapon made by kingdom hearts to harness the hearts, thereby making a connection. And since the fenrirs in the secret ending did not have keychains that could mean that fenrir is a original state of the keyblade. On another note, baldy absorbed his keyblade when he made the ball to reveal kingdom hearts, so that could also mean something. The knights could have been trying to stop the keybladebearers from mutliplying, so they killed many of them and were able to create they're little collection.
That could also mean that because kingdom key, way of the dawn and mickeys keyblade could be the originals of the series of keyblades created, making the basis of the models.

PS: sorry if this is weird i was just bored to death so i wrote dow the first things that came into my head xD

 

... I do believe that the Keyblades exhist in the game to unlock trapped hearts, worlds, doors, etc.

But what is this "original state of the Keyblades"? I still do not understand this; how the Keyblade can have an original state in the first place.

Aye, Baldy's Keyblade turning into an orb of awesome power was discussed. We settled on saying it was possibly the only thing with enough power to sustain/open/create/unlock/summon the huge blue-moon heart. Correct me if I'm wrong.

And if the soldiers were their own little "collection" on their own because they killed off the rest of the Keyblade bearers... then technically the soldiers' Keyblades wouldn't have been that basis model you were talking about.

i dont know if someone said this becuase i didnbt feel like looking through 50 pages so my theroy about Ven(roxas look alike) is that it is soras heartless. So theres sora then Ven is soras heartless and Roxas is soras nobody
