Kingdom Hearts II Discussion of Secret Ending

I probably sound like an idiot, coming in here making this incredibly short post when all these people are heavily debating, but where did we get the name Larry from? Did we just pull it our of the air? And How do we know the others are even called Aqua and Ven? The knight...("Larry") could've been talking about anything.

 

You're absolutely right. Ven and Aqua are merely speculative names for the two Knights. But it's a lot easier to discuss when you name the characters, so people have decided to just call them Aqua and Ven for now.

You're talking about the tall knight, right? I don't believe it. Their hair colors are complete opposites. E.S has brown and Xehanort/Xemnas has white/sivler. And Xehanort isn't old. He's fairly young actually. Same goes for the E.S. The ending is taking place in the past. E.S would have aged.

I sort of understand what you're saying. It's probably me though, I didn't look at any of the scenes in FM+ or in CoM. And I don't really think that the clothes they wear are important.

First of all, I am assuming you are referring to the taller E.S. And I am also assuming you really mean Xehanort, becuase Xemnas never "wound up in Radiant Garden before all the expieriments with the "Darkness of the heart" and Ansem the Wise's ideas".

Experiments on memory? And I don't think he just remembers Aqua..her armor is actually there. But it is EMPTY. There is no way that a person could be in there, even a body.

As for the clothes, I think it does matter that they are the same, but not as much as you are saying...gah...you are confusing me and contradicting yourself. Please try to explain a little more clearly...?

Now, I heard somewhere, I thought here, but I backtracked and couldn't find the post so it must be somewhere else, that Ven and Aqua were their final and offical names.

XD The only reference about Aqua and Ven were the lines "Aqua... Ven... Keyblade" when you first encounter the ES in Final Mix+. It is never confirmed what he is referring to, nor does Nomura ever answer that question regarding those two names in any interview.

Thus, it's only speculation so far. KHInsider and other sites have for some reason, noted these as official names, but they haven't provided any viable source such as official Square announcements, or Nomura interviews--so these are all 'jump-the-'gun' updates that haven't been confirmed.

 

What about Larry? That's never actually said in the game, is it?

Hey, I was not the one to come up with "Larry" in the first place ; I suppose it was chosen because it reminiscent of Baldy (which just as lame). Btw, it's François, not Fransoi.

I for one agree with NN006W's theory about Baldy taking Larry's body. I have tried and developed a similar theory in my thread (http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=9945). The main idea is that Xehanort is Larry's body, Baldy's heart and Baldy's mind, but without any memories.

okay i'm sorry for confuing a lot of ppl...i was tired and had a bad day but blah lol its over so let me try and explian again.

I think that "larry" is really Xehanort.
Reasons for this: 1) The hair (however different the color....though if you think of Rouge from X-men, i do make a little since with the change of color) Is the same exact stlye. Facial struture is similar, though a little gruffer then Xehanort's. though who's to say he didn't get a little cleaned up later.
2) Xehanort was found by Ansem the wise, both without his memories and badly wounded. I dont know about you guys...but the fighting i saw in that video tops any other kh battle so far in my book.
3)I do believe that Baldy somehow took over "larry". Only reson is this:

The clothes baldy wears are almost identical to what Xehanort's heartless wears. Also, remeber how when riku accepted Darkness he change in to "Ansem"? Well Xehanort willingly gave himself to darkness too, say his heart was invaded by baldy, well wouldn't he turn into some liklyness of him as well? Also, "Larry" seems to be a good guy, i mean you can just tell he's good (as for him and sora fighting in FM+, i dont really get it) but why would a good guy become so evil, just because he lost his memory? Baldy seemed very intrested in Kingdom hearts, so when Xehanort found out about Ansem the wise's experiments, the remaining power of baldy embeded in to Xehanort's heart woke up and said "perfect". because he sitll wants kingdom hearts. look at the past two games, first you stop "Ansem" from getting kkingdom hearts, then you stop Xemnas from getting kingdom hearts. Dont you think something deeper has to be going on here? Like a thid party invovement *cough* BALDY *cough*. that's my thoughts on that

As far as the armor goes, tear my thoughts to shreds i'm only saying what i got form the sceen i saw thats all.
