I´m not sure if this is off-topic, but i heard that before fight with ES in Final Mix he says:
"Aqua... Ven... Keyblade... who are you? I can feel it... we have met before... it was when... No... it isn't you... It isn't you that I have chosen... Why is it not him... Xe... ha... nort... is that you? Xeha... nort... Xehanort!"
If he really says so, could this mean that two of those knights are Ven and Aqua? I think BHC would be Aqua and Roxas look alike would be Ven. Or would brown haired knight be Ven? I don´t think so, ES-knight is too big, he can´t be Roxas look alike. OR maybe ES is new character? Not one of those who were in SE? I can´t think blonde as Ven. He´s just like Roxas. Maybe it is him? Maybe this scene is before he met Organization XIII.
And brown haired knight, he just can´t be Xehanort. Xehanort has brown eyes. But he could be Saîx. He has the same hair style. Even their noses are alike. =D
And Saîx is obsessed with hearts. Maybe because of his past?
BHC, IF her name is Aqua, she could be connected to Kairi. (Think about it. Kairi and Naminè are both something like "sea" or "wave" or "ocean".) Even if BHC isn´t her nobody or anything else like that. Maybe Nomura is just playing with us. He´s evil. :/

Well that was almost all. I just want to say again that I didn´t translate what ES says. I hope that she/he isn´t mad for me now! And I hope you understand what I said. (I don´t speak english as my own language, so there can be huge errors.)

Just my stupid speculations. I hope someone enjoyed. :P

Ps. Maybe Ven is Vexen? If ES is Saîx, it would make sense. Ofcourse they were normal people when SE scene happened. Maybe ES is his heartless, who is searching for Ven? My brain hurts... I just hate that stupid Nomura.

Wait what? KH3 comes out in the fall?

And can someone give me the meanings of all the abbreviations?

ES? and AU??

*feels like a noob*

There's definitely an emotional connection there. When she gets smashed, he's by her side right away. When he's frozen, she catches him just in time. And that moment when their eyes meet is really powerful.

My first impression was that they were lovers. But there's no hard proof, unfortunately. They could be siblings, friends, or longterm comrades. But I hope they're lovers. :p

ES is Enigmatic Soldier [brownhaired guy] cant remember AU's actual words offhand but its the old guy xDDD

" But he could be Saîx. He has the same hair style. Even their noses are alike. =D
And Saîx is obsessed with hearts. Maybe because of his past?"
Exactly!
You know, at this point the ES is Saix in my mind.:p And if it isnt, IMHO Square did an awful job animating him because he is Saix's spitting image, as you pointed out, even the NOSE~:p

That's a great explanation! There's another thread that talks about this, would you be willing to add your thoughts to that one too? :D

Really? he says he chose Xehanort? That goes along with one of my older theories, that I kinda left behind because it seemed evidence was going against me.

Well, I think it's safe to say they were key bearers, possibly from the past?
I believe the frozen statue was Roxas. Nomura never tries to do such a similar character that looks exactly like the same character from the same series.

Excellent theory. You mention that the tall knight loses something before he becomes Xehanort. We still don't know what the third part of the heart/body/something trinity is. Maybe he lost that third part of himself.

Maybe memories are the third part of the trinity. Maybe it's the mind. Maybe it's something else.

Nomura also said that Sora wasn't in ASAS or Deep Dive. And he wasn't. But Roxas was, and Roxas is another embodiment of Sora. It's possible that the Roxas lookalike is another embodiment. One from another time, or another world.

I agree, I think Nomura is trying to trick us. The Roxas lookalike is definitely going to be related to Roxas in some way. But I doubt that he's the nobody Roxas. This is probably another version of Sora.

In Ansem's report it says that the third part is the soul. I tried to put this theory up before, but people kept trying to shoot it down. What happens if the soul becomes corrupted/damaged/destroyed (for all of you picky people out there who can't seem to see that they would all end up in the same place)? What happens to the body and heart?

Not necessarily. A somebody would be the opposite of a nobody, which would mean the whole person. Like Sora was to Roxas. A new form of enemy or ally? Maybe. Perhaps that is what the Chasers are, not the knights.

Whoa o_O

That brings me back to old theories I had pre-FM+, about Chasers being the ones who make and give the Keyblades to their masters.

Anyways, if this is indeed what he says just before the fight, I have mixed thoughts on what it could mean. But two major thoughts pop into my head; Is Sora really supposed to be a Keyblade Master, if "It isn't you that I have chosen..."? And, I think even more interesting... Why would this guy think SORA is Xehanort? Either he's gotten really messed up in the head, or he's seeing something we're not.

Regardless, interesting stuff there. I'd like to know a little more of the context of that fight. Don't know a whole lot (wish someone would compile a list of all the foreboding info we have so far, that'd be sweet)

Having seen the new secret ending to Final Mix, seeing some of the new subbed cutscenes and then watching the original secret ending, you can kind of notice things...I'll include things I thought originally that I still think are true. I'll go through it in chronological order as well (Y)

1) The thing that the first knight is standing on looks like the thing xemnas was riding on during one of the final bosses, only much smaller...when the knight steps off, it fades to nothingness, so it could be a nobody/xemnas' monster thing.
2) The first knights keyblade doesn't have a keychain. maybe it's an original? not sure about this one.
3) It's Sora, the King's and Mickey's keyblades they pick up, not any others. also, they're not Sora, Riku, or Kairi, and if they're new characters, then one of them can't be Xehanort or Roxas either. Proof we haven't met them (and surely we've all read this):
Nomura: "Those 3 are completely new people who haven't shown up at all. In fact, I've already thought of their names. Back when I was making that movie, I only had their settings but now I've even drawn their faces to give myself a clearer image of them."
Nomura's thought of there names...could two of their names be the mysterious "Aqua...Ven" that the Enigmatic Soldier said seemingly randomly during the start of the boss fight? I'm just assuming it's "Aqua...Ven" he says, as I can't read Japanese and I'm just taking the word of those who can. But even though we have not met him, could Sora, Donald and Goofy have met him without us knowing? Unlikely, I know, but as soon as the Enigmatic Soldier starts talking they all draw their weapons and are ready to fight. Or maybe he sounds like someone they've met before, so even though this guy is not Xehanort, could be be linked? Or maybe he sounds similar to a certain Organization XIII member they've met.
However, Nomura never said we hadn't met the mysterious figure before... ;p
4) Not a theory, but I just wanna say cause i'm looking through the video for points. At 1:05 in the original ending we can see Follow the Wind and Fenrir. Can't recognize any of the others :/. Not important, just felt like saying =]
5) The crossroads, probabably the most important part, because it probably signals that we've already been to this place before. If the endings are set in the past then what happened to all the Keyblades by the time Sora got there? In the new ending we saw Baldy (more on him later) send the keyblades all over the place, using them all to attack the Knights. But they were still at the battleground, so where did they go? And are there knights for light, dark, dawn and twilight, if this is the same place? Well, we don't know the significance of the crossroads quite yet, but almost certainly we will in the next game.
6) At the end of the original ending, a mysterious figure is walking towards them and a series of words appear on screen:
Master of Keyblade: we know that Sora, Riku and Mickey are Keybearers, but we haven't heard anything of a "Master of Keyblade" before. Could one of them be the Master of Keyblade, or one of the Knights, or the person in the distance?
The Lost Two: Could mean anything. It could mean Riku and Kairi, as Sora was looking for them in the first game, or Riku and the King, who Sora was looking for in the second. Or, more likely, the Lost Two are Keyblades. Sora's keyblade came to him when Riku gave in to the darkness, so it wasn't exactly lost...it could be Mickey and Riku's keyblades that were lost. Mickey went to the Dark Realm and found his Keyblade. We don't know where Riku got his as far as I'm aware.
Memory of Xehanort: the literal memories of Xehanort that he lost before Ansem the Wise found him, or Xehanort in memories (Riku?). This one's probably the most confusing.
Chasers: One theory, based on a definition of Chaser, is that these are the ones who forged the Keyblades. The Knights? Probably. Maybe it's someone we haven't seen in the trailer, or maybe someone we've met in the games. Another theory is that these are those who literally chase the Keayblades, and gathered them at these crossroads, so that they could seal them away as keychains, so that only those that already had been chosen by the Keyblade could weild one. However, in TWTNW, Riku gives Kairi a Keyblade. What happened to it after? Is she now a Keybearer, or did it simply vanish when she no longer needed it? Whatever the case, it was a significant moment. Another point: if you speak to Kairi, she talks about how she wants to fight now, and if one of them goes to fight, the rest do. Also, she was going to we face Xemnas with Sora, Riku and the others. Could she have actually used to the Keyblade Riku gave her to help the others defeat Xemnas, or would she have been someone standing on the sidelines, cheering them on? I don't know, I've rambled abit here.
Keyblade War: could this be what happened in the next part of the ending, or was that just the opening or final battle of a long, bloody Keyblade War? Also, we don't know when this Keyblade War was. The past? I think it could be, but not the distant, 1000 year past. Maybe a few years prior to the events of Kingdom Hearts. The present? Hmm...not as in "as soon as Kingdom Hearts 2 finishes" present, more like during the events of Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2. The future? Well, the Keyblades are rusted, so it's a possibility. Also, if it's the future and this is the same place Sora, DiZ, the King and Riku were at then it could be the very far future if it's all become desert. I'll talk more about Sora, DiZ, the King and Riku all having been there later perhaps.
It all began with birth by sleep.: I have no idea what this means. Sorry. :(

The next ending starts exactly where the last one ended: the words Birth by Sleep on a black screen. Then there's some Japanese text I can't read, and I'm too into this to go and find a translation, I might edit this later to add it in. Anyhoo, once the main part starts up...

The mysterious figure in the distance is..."OMFG IT IS XEHANORT MY DAD WORKS FOR SQUARE-ENIX". No, you're just saying that your dad works at S.E. in the hope that people will believe you. *eye roll*

No, it's just a bald guy who's wearing the same clothes that Xehanort's Heartless did in KH1. But something tells me they both don't just go to the same store...

If you look, Xehanort's Heartless is wearing a Heartless symbol across his chest when he's wearing these clothes. This guy isn't. This brings me to a very likely theory I found on this forum by shadowjak. It can be found here. It's the theory that this guy is Ansem the Wise. I can't explain it as good as this guy so read his theory.

Anyway, I'll continue this later when I can be bothered to finish =] lol. Prob'ly all been mentioned before anyway.

Did the E.S pull a Riku?

Im watchin the secret endin for like the billionth time now and i starts thinkin...

some one mentioned before that it was the construction site of Org. XIIIs castle.. i think this is true. I mean think about it.

Xemnas and the Org were using Sora to collect hearts and power up Kingdom Hearts we all know this.

So what if that is Xehanort and he is summoning Kingdom Hearts to gain ultimate power.

But, the E.S's eyes turn all yellow and heartless-y...

Riku did something to that effect except he turned into a Ansem person thing...

The E.S uses this new found power of darkness he gains from looking at Kingdom Hearts and kills Xehanort. Because he is darkness Xehanort becomes a heartless (Ansem) and a Nobody (Xemnas). Xemnas hurts Ansem and makes him try and summon Kingdom Hearts somewere else (EOTW). Xemnas starts collecting Hearts from Sora and the Gang's keyblades and feeds them to Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts turns yellow and gold as the Hearts add there strength to Kingdom Hearts.
Xemnas wants to get his heart back yes? This would turn him back into Xehanort and he could turn around and use Kingdom Heart's power.

Now, the E.S is in where ever that place is in the portal in the Hall of the Cornerstone. He's waiting for the lost knights (Aqua and Ven i assume) and that must make them the Lost Two. Sora and Co. arrives and he knows there not the knights. He attacks Sora and Co.

About that armor Xemnas has in the basement of Ansem's Comp room i have no idea. it could be shards of armor he collected after the fight and pieced together or possibly he drove off the BHC and captured a frozen RK or possibly the other way around they were both pretty tired looking.

Ok thats all i got i need to help a friend with HW and i apologize if someone mentioned this before and got shot down.... or something

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING ON

These statements are merely opinions and ideas my sister and I have come up with based on little and few confirmed facts and careful research. We are not trying to say that they are true but only that they may be possibilities among other possibilities. These are just some that we strongly believe will be in this installment. We are not trying to prove anyone wrong, we are just trying to share our ideas. Thank you.
-----------------------------

Me and my sister watched videos from youtube and downloaded very high quality ones so we could see the secret movie clearly. We kept watching it over and over again, and kept seeing some very notable themes that are very interesting. This is an analysis of what we've seen, what we know/knew, and what we can guess based on the other KH series.

((WARNING!!! Long A$$ Analysis!))

-The 3 knights that take the 3 key blades belonged to Sora, Riku, and Mickey.
>Knight #1 (whom we shall call Young Xehanort [further explanation shall follow...])-took Sora's; got pointy ears and the tallest of the 3
>Knight #2 (whom we shall call Blue)-took Mickey's; ears slick back
>Knight # 3 (whom we shall call "Roxas" [again, further explanation shall follow...])-took Riku's; pointy ears; short

-In case you haven't noticed, The Old Man is wearing an outfit exactly like Heartless Ansem's (as well as the boots from Organization XIII). The only difference is that it is bottom up. (Who the hell wants to see a shriveled up evil old mans body anyway!? XP)

-When the old man split into two, that was like Zexion's Cloning ability; along with shape shifting. Once his second clone seperated it transformed into, from what it may seem, his heartless form. From this we could hypothesize that the Old Man has the ability to seperate and combine his heart at will. ((Something that Xehanort was interested in when he came to Hallow Bastion))

-Once Young Xehanort ran after him, the battle begins. As the Knights fight the Old Man and his Heartless form, the old codger uses elements that are each signature to one of the Organization members(i.e. Cloning-Zexions, Lightning-Larxene, Earth-Lauxeaus, Ice-Vexen, etc.)

-During the battle Knight #2, Blue, had fallen from the cliff's edge. The helmet had broken off, so now we are able to see the face of one of the knights at last. For the record, people have been thinking that they see Riku/a boy. But when we looked at that knight closely and carefully, it's actually a girl.
Her physical features are much more slimmer than a KH boys, like Kairi's and Namine's face and neck. Although her hair may look boyish, it actually is just like the tomboyish hairstyle that Kairi use to have in KH1.(if that doesn't convince you, look at her armor; bosom people, bosom.)
And from the way she battles, her strength lies on magic abilities. Sending a blast towards the enemy from her keyblade.

-My sister noted that if you look at the Old Man’s weapon closely, it’s a huge Keyblade that looks like a fusion of many other key blades combined. It could be possible that this shriveled old coot is in fact the former Keyblade Master. My theory is that he’s possibly getting in way over his head on some obseession, and the three of them were sent to stop him.

The pattern of most villains we’ve seen was that they had a fixation that drove them into the darkness. The thirst to know, to be, or to find are pretty common traits that we’ve seen in a lot of characters. Xehanort’s obsession with Kingdom Hearts, Riku’s desire to leave Destiny Island (of course he did not let that overtake him forever), and the first six members of Organization XIII who also had a thirst to know more than they bargained for.

-The beauty of this KH3 Movie is that even thought they don't speak, you can somehow get the idea of the relationship of the characters through their body language. Young Xehanort seems to hold a parental like closeness to the other two, particularly "Roxas". Whether it was when he stopped him from running after the Old Man in the beginning, or the shocked/fearful expression his lips made as the Old Fogey gripped the boys head in his hand, he seemed to not want the boy to get hurt.
There also seems [just saying it's possible] to be a romantic thing between "Roxas" and Blue. The look that the two give each other is so intense; it reminded me of the strong bond between Sora and Kairi when they held on to one another at the end of KH1. The way she jumped after him as his frozen body fell the ground, and as she held him in her arms; there really felt like a chemistry.

-The helmet breaks off a little to reveal "Roxas'" blue eyes. And when Blue caught him, the helmet is pretty much off his head so that we can see him. Though he may "look" like "Roxas" he most likely isn't. For one thing the real Roxas is a part of Sora again; his hair somehow looked a slightly lighter than both Sora and Roxas, and is also a little taller than the two. And if this event is taking place in when we think it is, it is way to early from the time Roxas came into existence.

-Just to assure everyone, the "Roxas" kid is not dead yet. My sister and I looked at the high quality video, and his eyes are moving still.

-As with the KH theme, the focus of the villain appears to be Kingdom Hearts Once again. For what reason and purpose, it is still unknown. He summons Kingdom Hearts to appear as the clouds disperse in a circular manner to reveal the familiar heart shaped moon. He then rises up towards it as the two watch from below (or one of them anyway), the light bathing over them.

-Young Xehanort, who was flung off the cliff by the Heartless form, staggers back up on one knee. The last of the 3 to take off his helmet, reveals his face. Many who thought it was Sora were mistaken; b/c the 3rd KH installment isn't about him. The man with that broken helmet, brown hair, and blue eyes is in face Xehanort in his youth (or twenties at least)-thus the alias we've given him. Although this has led a debate on if it really is him/not.

My sister argued that it couldn’t be Xehanort b/c he was only a baby/child when Ansem the Wise took him in. The man is probably an ancestor/relative of Xehanort; and the Old Man is also probably related to him as well (their yellow eyes). Another thing that she pointed out was the possibility that may be the “Memories of Xehanort†were planted in Xehanort the same way Sora’s memories were planted. Their could be someone else with the ability to give & take memories. This is one possibility.

The other is that it really is Xehanort in his former life. The first thing you will notice is his hairstyle, the trinity bangs (three pieces that point out like the appendages of a stars). That's the signature hair of Heartless Ansem (and Xehanort when he was Ansem the Wise's Pupil). Another give away was his eyes. In the past he use to have striking blue eyes just like Sora's, but as he looked up at the Old Man with rising anger, they changed to yellow. I know that in KHII, the Xehanort that everyone saw had brown eyes in the scene. But it is genetically possible for eyes to change color with age (or in his possible case-rebirth), as with his hair. Also I don’t think it could be possible that the memories were someone else’s, b/c if the person had the same ability as Namine, he/she then can only create memories based off the ones that already exist in the person’s mind.

And if you put all those random text that appear in the KHII secret ending, it makes sense.

“The memories of Xehanort as a Chaser during the Keyblade War in which they must stop the Keyblade Master from opening Kingdom Hearts, and leading the world into destruction.â€

This text of course is only one of the possibilities.

-I looked up the symbolisms of the colors yellow and blue, as they are the primary colors in this game. Blue means knowledge or a calm life of the conscious mind; where as yellow meant envy, cowardice, or treachery. The Yellow-to-Blue change is a sort of “transitional phase†that shows the corruption of innocence-the light and darkness of the mind. When ever a character got too deep into darkness, particularly a highly intellectual one, there eyes would alter to yellow. (i.e. the Old Man’s eyes could have changed, so he may not be related to Xehanort.)

Another interesting fact that my sister pointed out is the color of the moon/Kingdom Hearts. In KHI, the Moon is full, but it was yellow; in KHII the moon was full and yellow, but with a rim of blue outlining it. And this time in the Secret Movie, the Kingdom Hearts is a solid shade of blue. This means that in both I & II, the completions were failures; but once Kingdom Hearts was successfully opened. At the same moment that Xehanort had changed….(does anyone get the feeling of a Star Wars theme here???)

-At the end Mickey shows up a couple of miles a way from the scene, with a grim look on his face. (We were cracking up at how evil and badass he looked). Once he found the real research paper by Ansem the Wise, and after sending the message to the trio on Destiny Island, he must have found a way to go back in time in order to find out the truth about the Keyblade, Xehanort, and the many mysteries that surround Kingdom Hearts. He could have had help from Master Yen Sid, Merlin, etc.

-Overall we can somewhat confirm that the third installment of KH is definitely in the past, and that some of the major questions and mysteries about Xehanort and the Keyblade will be answered here. Nomura is a true genius story teller, with a talent for creating a plot that is bewildering and intriguing. And of course the artists and techies that worked the animation have out done themselves once again. Although me and my sister thoroughly looked through this preview, and pretty much scrutinized every little detail we could find, our analysis is but one of the many possibilities to Nomura’s magnum opus.

Oh yeah, that was pretty distinct feature (other than the fact that he looked like a cross between a beat up old vulture and Nosforactu). And right before the logo appeared, the knight that looked like Xehanort/Xemnas/Heartless Ansem, his eyes changed from blue to yellow.

These are also characters who have yellow eyes:

-The Heartless (duh)
-Xigbar
-Saix
-Ansem the Wise (but only because he was wearing that weird red scarf around his head)

and of course

-Xemnas/Heartless Ansem

My sister and I theorized that this might happen because they have fallen into darkness for too long. But it's still a question to us...

i think he's an older version of "Ansem" .... xehanort's heartless... or maybe Xehanort came back like sora... and got older... and the 3 knights.. one of them looks like Roxas, indoubtedly, and i know the girl is new. but the guy who's eyes change color... i dont know if that was a metaphor... or if his eyes really did change color... >_< and he was the one in the earlier pictures of the guy with the broken helmet, yknow... but HE has xehanort's hair.. maybe the baldy is the older knight's father or something... the baldy is the memory of xehanort... idk
and the girl looks a lot like roxas too.

Everyone blows little details way out of proportion. He's dressed like Xehanort, but look at their faces. They don't look anything alike, except sharing eye color.

I mean, Sephiroth dresses a lot the same, too. Xehanort is definately related in some way, but I highly doubt that this is him. I agree with those that think the AU with the yellow eyes and brown hair is Xehanort, from the past.

I think you're right. They dress almost exactly the same, save for thier skin tones and age. :)

 On a wierd note: did anyone catch a good look at badly's spiderman-helper's keyblade???? It's very interesting. I'd put a picture up to show but I'm not on my computer. If anyone has the chance they could go scene skipping through the ending and stop a little bit after on where baldy first materializes Spidy.

Sorry if that topic has already been brought up. I don't have the time to read every post.
