There are a few games that really take a while in development, like Diablo 3, Half-Life 2 Episode 3, Duke Nukem Forever, Brothers in Arms 4, and a few others. But Yeah, It's Square, and they want both FFXV and KHIII to have the best playing experience possible.

 

Hey, Duke Nukem Forever took way longer tha-Oh.

Well, Bioshock Infinite took about that long and it turned out amazingly.

Yeeeeahh the prospects, for me at least, are not going in a rather favorable direction for le Final Fantasy XV. Sure, their "fantasy based on reality" theme is present... but I look at reality and I don't see most people wear black all the time jussayin

But whatevs, it's kinda fortunate and sad at the same time that KH3 will take a while. Finishing up college, getting a career, etc, will hopefully distract me from waiting. I just hope that I don't lose much interest...

Scrapped a podcast over the lack of content (and a few other problems) so that told me how bad this all was.
I at least thought that KH would have some sort of presence, announcement of KH 2.5 at the least. Damned shame.
I am not much of a FF fan after 13 was fairly meh, but 15 at least looks good, but not worth the amount of production that has already gone into it. I do agree the project should've been scrapped, purely because it will not live up to expectations.

Wait what? How like a typical anime? What animes are you watching? I want to watch them.
