Kingdom Hearts II Digital twilight town confusion.

When you enter twilight town and go to the basement hall,there's that light beam thing that you can touch and go to another twilight town.Is the one with all the people,the playable one,the digital one?Does that mean hayner,penn,and oylet are fake?I just started playing kh2 again after a 9 month break and now it's REALLY confusing.

 

Okay, the one Roxas was in at the start of the game was the digital one. DiZ/Ansem the Wise constructed it to hold Roxas captive. It was a copy of everything in the real twilight town.

There is a bit of confusion of which Twilight town Sora slept in, and which one Roxas fused with him in, but we shall ignore that.

Sora emerged in the real Twilight Town after Roxas fused with him. He met Hayner and Co. They did not know Roxas, as they were not the digital copies Roxas befriended.

Sora went traveling.

Axel kidnapped Kairi, and took her to the real Twilight Town, then moved onwards to The World That Never Was.

Sora came back to the real Twilight Town, and discovered Kairi had passed through. He went to the Mansion with Hayner and Co. They discovered that the basement had a digital town constructed, and that there was a laser to serve as a portal to it.

Sora went into the Laser and into the digital Twilight Town. He found a dark portal, and got ambushed by nobodies, but was saved by a kamikaze Axel.

He then went to The World That Never Was.

Yeah but If roxas was in the digital Twilght town then fused with Sora and sora woke up in the real twilght town,did he like move when roxas fused with him?Did roxas go through the laser to wake up sora?

 

No, Roxas was in the fake Twilight Town when he see Sora for the first time (i can tell because the broke computers are in the fake Twilight Town) so I assume DiZ take Sora, Donald and Goofy to the real Twilight Town BEFORE they woke up.

 

Damn... You want the answer to the hard question.

No, Roxas did not go through the beam. Yes, he fused with Sora in the fake Twilight Town. Yes, Sora woke up in the real Twilight Town.

I would put it down to plot-holed, then move on with an excuse of "DiZ moved him."

 

that doesnt make sense maybe somehow roxas came to the reall one!

Okay, look. The digital Twilight Town and everything in it was basically connected to Sora's pod. Roxas was digitized by DiZ. All the events that happened in the prologue was happening in the digital world. And the digital world with Roxas in it, was hooked up to Sora. So when Roxas merged with Sora, all that happened was his digital self and consciousness was fused with the Sora in the real world.

Make sense? :huh:

 

Here's what I think:

I think that DiZ (with his great technology) set up an invisible portal that connected the fact Twilight Town to the real Twilight Town. So when Roxas went through the door after the final Axel fight, he actually went through an invisible portal and into the real Twilight Town, where Sora, Donald, and Goofy slept.

But it's just one girl's crazy theory xD.

How do you know that it was his Twilight Town?

 

You could go back and the chests were still there,opened.

 

Because before he saw them, Roxas brake DiZ computer room BUT the real Twilight Town computer room is in a perfectly good state (the broken one is the one in the fake/data Twilight Town)

Ahh..then I change my theory a bit:

I think that DiZ (with his great technology) set up an invisible portal that connected the fact Twilight Town to the real Twilight Town. So when Roxas went through the door to Sora's pod (or anyone else who went through that door), they were in the real Twilight Town. Then when they exited, the portal didn't work both ways around, so they stayed in the real Twilight Town and the only way back was to touch the light.

I have one:
When Roxas joined Sora,a Portal appear below He,Donald and Goofy that make they go to the other pods.

 

this is so simple guys no invisible portals or anything....
look Diz said he made a copy of all of twilight town except the beach and the tower of Yen Sid, going back to the topic Roxas is in the digital Twilight town he goes to the mansion whose to say that is not coded in the digital TWTN they could have just done that. plus Diz shows up right and is in his digital form like a hologram so roxas is still in digital twilight town then the pod opens and sora is there but its not the real sora but since its linked to him the real one also opens. Roxas dosent fuse with sora in the real world!!!!! he stays there and he just says " Sora huh".... he dosent go anywhere, get it? if he did he wouldnt fight sora later and then at the end fuse with him, nothing happens in that scene he just stays there.

of coarse the two worlds are linked but the copy was linked to sora in the real world so when his recovery was done the pod would open...

seriously it didnt take too much to figure it out it was simple just looking at the fight vs. roxas shows he didn't do anything or go with sora.

 

You're saying that it was inside Sora mind?
But anyway he fused with Sora,he just awakened later because Axel died for Sora and he became angry/jealous.
And he didn't fuse again,he just accepted Sora as "a good other".

 

no the digital twilight town is separate from him but it was linked because of the recovery process.
what the heck does Axel have to do with that they dont fuse it happens after roxas fights with sora no even after that after the first fight with Xemnas because Namine also fuses with Kairi at the same TIME!!!!!!!

thats right man I play this game a lot I see the cut scenes all of that is in the cyber twilight town even if the computer is smashed its in the digital town what is up you guys these theories are so bad but I agree with Raxma just watch the dang cut scenes. what simple stuff c'mon the cyber world has a digital sora in it and he arrived around the time the pod was to open. besides dosent diz leave and he could just get the pod to open so Roxas can see sora!
