"Yeah, you're right."

 

"Now that our fun is out of the way, I want to start researching my powers, and why the shadows are bowing to me."

 

Ryoji nodded and got out of the shower.

 

Nina got dressed and sighed.

 

"Something wrong?"

 

"It's nothing, Ryoji."

 

"Uh, okay." Ryoji got dressed and stretched.

 

Nina walked outside and tried to call on her power.

 

Ryoji held Yumi and watched her.

 

Nina fired a dark bolt into the sky. It wasn't as much of a drain on her as it was before.

 

Ryoji carefully watched her.

 

Nina continued to practice with her power, calling up a shadow servant to practice on.

 

Ryoji tried to communicate with the shadow.

 

The shadow looked at Ryoji and responded. It told him how the shadows saw Nina as sort of a lawbringer to a chaotic place, thus they followed her command.

 

"Okay, to them, you're some sort of lawbringer to a chaotic place. Probably because your Arcana is Justice."

 

"That sort of makes sense, I guess."

 

Ryoji asked about Nina's power and the shadows obeying her because she's Justice.

 

The shadow explained that her power revolved mostly from controlling other shadows.

Nina nodded.

"No wonder the shadows stick around me. Without them, I can't use my power."

 

Ryoji nodded and smiled.

 

"Now I know all about my power."
