Nina gasped for air and looked out the window. She looked at Ryoji and smiled when she saw how dark it was outside.

"That was wonderful, Ryoji."

 

"Yeah, it was....."

 

"I just noticed that it's the dark hour right now. I used to be uneasy when this time came along, but I feel at ease now. Maybe it's because I'm a shadow arcana now."

 

"Stay on your toes during this time."

 

"Trust me, I know what lurks out there. I don't think I'll have to worry about shadows attacking me now."

 

'And hopefully, you'll never see the power I hold inside.......' he whispered softly.

 

"I can feel the power in you, Ryoji, and I hope I never have to see it either."

 

Ryoji nodded and held her close, crying.

 

Nina held him tightly.

"No matter what happens, I'll stick with you. I won't let anything shatter our bond."

 

Ryoji looked at her and kissed her.

 

Nina kissed him back passionately.
