Ryoji took out the box from his pocket.

 

"What's in the box?" Nina asked as she finished taking the scarf off.

 

"With you knowing what I am and that you truly love me, let me ask you this." He opened the box to reveal a ring. "Will you marry you?!"

 

Nina smiled and hugged him tightly.

"Of course I will, Ryoji." She still had his scarf in her hand.

 

Ryoji smiled and hugged her back, gently taking his scarf.

 

"I'd love to keep the scarf, but I know how much it means to you."

 

"Why don't we share it?"

 

"That would be wonderful. Do you mind if I wear it the whole time we're here?"

 

"Alright." Ryoji stretched and left the room. He called back home.

 

Nina put the scarf on and smiled as she got her swimsuit out.

 

"Hattori here."

"Tell Minato that Nina and I are engaged."

"She's right here. I'll put us on speaker."

Ryoji sighed.

 

Minato listened in on the speakerphone.

Nina put Ryoji's stuff away while he was on the phone.

"He forgot to bring a swimsuit. Oh well, this is a private beach, so we can do whatever we want." She said to herself, putting her swimsuit away.

 

"Nina and I are engaged." Ryoji heard Teddie shout happily in the background.

 

Minato smiled.

"Congratulations, you two. You getting married while you're on your trip, or when you come back?"

"I was thinking we'd get married while we're here, but we'll have the official ceremony when we come home." Nina said when she walked up behind Ryoji.

 

"I was wondering when you'd pop the question."

"Talk to you later." Ryoji sighed.

 

Minato and Nina hung the phone up at the same time.

"We'll take care of the marriage tomorrow. Let's go take a swim. I know you didn't bring a swimsuit, but we don't need one, since this is a private beach."

 

Ryoji just took out his shirt and jumped into the water.

 

Nina undressed and got in the water.

 

Ryoji sighed and floated in the water.

 

Nina swam over to him and passionately kissed him.
