Hattori grabbed her hand and removed the spell on it, revealing the metal skin.

 

Nina looked a little surprised.

"This happened during one of the experiments." Minato said.

 

Alice appeared and gently pulled the arm out. "My father actually cut her arm off and replaced it......." Hattori looked away and said, "But his worst crime is what he did to me while I was in my mother's womb......."

 

"Your father sounds like he was a horrible man."

 

"He was........" Hattori let tears fall down his face. "He killed my sister to get me........"

 

Minato gently comforted Hattori.

"And because what his father did to him, his mother committed suicide after she gave birth to him."

Nina was speechless.

 

Hattori was quiet as they rode to the plane.

 

Minato got out of the limo with him as they got to the plane.

 

Hattori got on the plane and sat down, turning on the tv.

 

Minato sighed as they watched the news. Nina helped herself to the minibar in the back, she being a bit of a social drinker.

 

Hattori looked out the window and sighed. 'I wonder if Nina was in my sister's position, would she do the same for Minato?' He thought to himself.

 

Nina sat down and took a sip of rum. She tried to get Minato to drink a little, but she turned it down.

 

Hattori took a sip of tea and poured a cup for Minato.

 

Minato drank some tea and slowly fell asleep. Nina covered her with a blanket.

"I can't imagine the tortures the two of you have gone through in your lives. I remember being really close to Minato before she got kidnapped, and I always stood up for her when other kids bullied her. I would have given my life for her if I had to. I wanted my little sister to be safe."

 

"I see....... I was wondering if you were in the same position as my sister, would you do the same for Minato? Looks like I got my answer."

 

Nina nodded and smiled at her sleeping sister.

"I'm glad she's alright after all these years. Every time I went on a business trip, I hoped that I would find some sign of her. Then one day, I get a call from her. I never cried so hard in my life."

 

"She lost her memory when we first met. I was trying to escape and stumbled upon her room in the hospital. I literally thought she was a angel from heaven."

 

"So how did you two end up getting married?"

 

"After getting to know each other, I proposed during the festival and she said 'yes'."

 

"Must be nice being married for so long. I was married once, but my ex was an abusive jerk. I ended up divorcing him."
