Ryoji nodded and left.

 

Minato soon followed Ryoji after being forced out by the doctor. She went to go see her newborn daughter.

 

Teddie gave her to Minato because she was pulling on his hair.

 

Minato smiled as she cradled Cara in her arms.

"I can't wait till I can show you to your father."

 

"Ryoji without his scarf! Now that's something new!" Teddie stared at Ryoji, who was more calmer and quiet than before.

 

"Don't pester Ryoji, Teddie. There's a reason he doesn't have his scarf on."

 

"I can't blame him." Teddie sighed. "You sure you and Hattori don't want to switch back?"

 

"We're sure. He and I are much happier than we were before."

 

"Lets head back to the hotel." Ryoji left the hospital.

 

Minato walked with the kids, still cradling Cara. The doctors would contact Minato when Hattori woke up.

 

Hattori stirred a little in his sleep.

 

Minato laid on the bed in the hotel and sighed. She stared at her phone, hoping the doctors would contact her soon.

 

Hattori slowly opened his eyes and looked around. "Where am I? Who.... am I?" He noticed the yellow scarf on his bedside and held it close.

 

The doctors called Minato and let her know Hattori was awake. She rushed to the hospital to see him.

 

Hattori saw Minato entered with Ryoji. "Who..... are you?"

"You've got to be kidding me..... How could he get forget who he is from a gunshot?" Ryoji muttered to himself.

 

Minato was hurt when he didn't recognize her. The doctors told her that his amnesia would fade, but he was well enough to leave the hospital.

"My name's Minato, and this is Ryoji. That's his scarf you're holding."

 

"Did the amnesia come from the gunshot?" Ryoji asked the doctor as Hattori slowly got out of the bed.

 

The doctor nodded as Metatron motioned for Ryoji and Minato to follow him out of the room.

 

Ryoji followed him out of the room.

 

Minato followed suit.

"What's this about, Metatron?"

"That bullet wasn't designed to give amnesia. It was made to erase memories."
