"How's he and Arisa doing?"

 

"They're doing fine. Arisa just gave birth to their daughter, Luna. He says that you got another package from your fan that had a machine in it to undo a side effect that the other machine caused, and he wants to know what to do with the package. I don't remember there being any side effects, do you?" Minato said, winking at him. She knew what the text was talking about, but was showing that she was much happier the way they were now and didn't want to go back.

 

Hattori smiled and nodded. "I'm going out for awhile. See ya later." Hattori walked out of the room and went outside.

 

Minato sighed happily as she sat up.

 

Ryoji was working on the bus when he saw Hattori. He smiled and waved at him, Hattori was about to go to help when he felt something go through him, and fell to the ground. Ryoji grabbed his scythe and and killed the person who shot Hattori. He then called 911 and tried to heal him as he waited. Teddie ran out and gasped.

 

Minato came out when she heard the gunshot and screamed when she saw Hattori.

"What happened?! Why would anyone want to shoot you?!" She asked as she gently held him in her arms.

 

"Must be a suviving assassin of Toji from the other world." Ryoji said, taking off his scarf. Hattori looked at him, "Ryoji.... no..... I can't......."

"You need healing, and until the ambulance gets here, this is the best bandage we got." He said, wrapping his scarf around the wound.

 

As Minato saw the ambulance pull up, the stress of seeing Hattori in the condition he was in made her go into labor.

 

Ryoji supported Minato and got her into the ambulance with Hattori, Teddie stayed behind and calmed the kids down.

 

Minato groaned in pain as they were wheeled into the emergency room. Minato was taken to a different area where she began to push the baby out.

 

Ryoji waited in the waiting room, Hattori was taken to the operation room as doctors began to try to heal him. Ryoji held his scarf in his hand when Teddie and the kids appeared.

 

Minato rested in another room after giving birth to their daughter, which she named Cara. She hoped Hattori would be alright.

 

Teddie and the kids visited her, Ryoji asked the doctor if Hattori would be able to make it.

 

The doctor told Ryoji that Hattori would recover, but it would be a few days before he could leave the hospital.

"Take me to see him, Ryoji." Minato said as she slowly got out of the bed and stumbled, still weak from giving birth.

 

Ryoji took her to Hattori's room, Hattori was asleep on his bed, a large bandage covered his chest. Ryoji sighed and placed his scarf on his bedside.

 

Minato gently held Hattori's hand and silently shed tears of joy, knowing he would be alright.

"We're going to have to extend the tour a week. I'm not going anywhere until Hattori is out of the hospital."

 

"I'm so stupid! If only I had sense that assassin's presence eariler!" Ryoji shed tears of regret, staring at Hattori. "If only I was quick enough to save you!"

 

"It's alright, Ryoji. Hattori is going to be ok, after all. Don't beat yourself up over this."

 

"I know..... But I was right there, and I didn't do it to help him."

 

"Even if you had seen that assassin coming, you might not have been able to stop him either way. It hurts to see Hattori in this condition, but not as much since I know he'll recover. All we can do now is wait." Minato said before gently kissing Hattori's cheek.
