Hattori nodded and walked inside with Minato.

 

Minato walked with him. Sakuya smiled at them.

 

Cara stood with a long blade in her hands. She stood across the cemetary from Zalera. His powers animated a few old skeletons and Cara cut them down to size, "Throw something harder at me! Orphan isn't going down that easily!" Zalera's frost covered the ground but no new enemy came for her. Zalera waited for her to move, "...Attack me..."

 

Ryoji watched them, a calm look on his face.

 

Hattori stretched and smiled.

 

"I don't think you two ever told me how you met."

"It's been too long, I can't remember.

 

Cara took a breath and flung herself at him. Zalera blocked her attacks and tried to thrust her back. It was the most motion he'd ever done. Cara flipped over him and tapped her sword to the back of his skulled head, "I win." Zalera turned and encircled her with his wing, "...my mistress is always the winner..."

 

"I think we met during a shadow attack on a hospital. I went back to get my stuff after escaping from there when they wanted to experiment on me."

 

"I had lost my memory at that point."

"Cara! It's time to eat."

 

Cara jerked and smiled, "Kay!" She ran and walked beside Ryoji, "W-where you watching?"

 

"I know. We've been together ever since." Hattori said.

 

"Just a bit."

"Yeah."

 

Cara scratched her head, "Oh, I uh, I'm usually better than that. It's an off day." Zalera chilled them, "...The lack of your sister...throws you off balence...you'll get better..."

 

Hattori sat down, still continuing to smile.

 

'And yet you two will have so much sorrow in the future.' Sakuya thought to herself.

 

Hattori gently kissed Minato, trying not to think of the future.

 

Minato kissed him back.

 

Hattori waited for dinner to arrive.

 

Teddie placed dinner on the table. Minato looked at Sakuya, "Where are all your servants?"

"I gave them some time off."

 

Hattori began to eat.
