Hattori slowly stood up.

"I guess I better go tell her what I've been hiding from her all along. I'd rather her know the truth now than wait till she's on her deathbed."

 

Ryoji nodded. "She's getting her metal arm fixed, so I think she's in the garden."

 

Hattori walked out to the garden and sighed.

 

Minato was sitting by the fountain, holding a blossomed cherry blossom.

 

Hattori sat next to her.

"I've got something that I need to tell you, Minato."

 

"Yeah, Hattori?"

 

Cara stood, "I'll be back around noon. Don't eat without me." She dashed out the door with Zalera hard on her heels.

 

"You already know that I'm half-persona, but being half-persona gives me a much longer lifespan. From what Metatron and Lucifer tell me, my life will be longer than yours and all of our children combined at least."

 

"I see. I already know when I die, I'll become the angel of death, but........ I couldn't imagine being without you."

 

"You'll have to for a while. I'm not sure how long I'll live on, not even Metatron and Lucifer know that."

 

Minato laid her head on his shoulder. Ryoji held her repaired arm and sighed.

 

Hattori gently held her.

"It's going to hurt me a lot when you pass on."

 

"I'll be waiting for the day when I'll take your soul and be with you again."

 

Hattori nodded and held her tightly.

"It'll be hard to go on until then. I never imagined I'd have to watch my family die off one by one.""

 

Minato sighed and held him with her single arm.

 

"Until then, we should just enjoy the time we have together."

 

"Yeah......."

 

Hattori took her repaired arm and reattached it for her.

 

Minato stretched her arm and smiled. "Lets eat." Ryoji nodded and went to get Cara.
