Digital Persona Saga - Mask of Longing

"Well, it looks like you don't have full control of your persona yet. How about I show you what happens when you do? I assure you you'll love it."

 

Lesa gripped her head as Cara started screaming, "What is that thing! This power! Lesa, this isn't something we have control over! You need to calm down, please!" Styria held Lesa up and Nix bowed her head in shame. Styria spoke, "Our Mistress needs her rest. Your woman of darkness upsets the balance of power within our Mistress."

 

Snow laughed happily. His eyes faded back to their original blue and Nyx disappeared into darkness. He stopped the blizzard and started to walk away.

 

Styria carried Lesa up to her rooms. Nix glared at Snow and followed. Lesa hated that she was weak. She squirmed from Styria's arms, "N-next time, I won't let them behave so. You'll show me this thing next time, right Snow?"

 

Snow laughed happily. His eyes faded back to their original blue and Nyx disappeared into darkness. He stopped the blizzard and started to walk away.

 

Lesa stopped Styria, "Please, I don't want to sleep here. I need to find him." Styria touched her lips, "You'll find no one Mistress." she touched the still glowing mark on her wrist and it calmed, "Rest now." Lesa succumbed to the darkness against her will and fell asleep. Nix floated next to her sister, "Do you think it's a good idea to keep that one locked up?" Styria shook her head, "I'm not sure. Bahamut will be a formidable persona for her. Control is something she lacks, even in her own emotions. Control her emotions and she'll learn to control Bahamut."

 

"Of course I would. Don't worry." Snow starts reading his poetry book again.

 

Styria handed Nix Lesa and drifted after Snow. "Young man..."

 

Snow looked at the persona following him "Yes?"

 

Styria gently let her finger trail over his shoulder, "My Mistress has no control over Nix because she belongs to Lesa's twin sister, Cara. Cara's consciousness was fused with Lesa's when she was seven. Lesa's emotions are closely connected to the powers she gained. I'd like to ask you to try to teach her to control herself." Styria hesitated, "There's something else...inside her other than my sister and I."

 

"I'll think about it. Meet me in the forest tomorrow and I'll have an answer. You'll know its me there. It'll be quite chilly."

 

Styria smiled, "Just the way I like it." Her bright icy blue eyes glazed over, "I must go. I shall not bring Nix, she's far to...easy to provoke. Good bye, Snow Glace, dearest user of ice and darkness." Styria faded and slipped back into Lesa to settle in for a night of nightmares.

 

Minato looked out at the snow, she could see different versions of Hattori and Suki surrounded by a black haired boy, a blond haired boy, and many children playing in the snow. She wiped the tears from her eyes.

 

Hattori gazed out at the snow and sighed. Metatron appeared behind him.

"You seem awfully down, master."

"Yeah. I can't stop thinking about Minato for some reason."

 

"Orpheus, do you think my family is doing alright?" Minato asked one of her first persona. Orpheus nodded. "Of course. And they miss you very much."

 

Hattori stepped out and sat in the snow.

 

"Suki said she saw a image of her and me smiling together, wonder what Hattori saw." Minato looked out her window, Orpheus smiled, "Probably the family you two created together with Master Ryoji and Master Teddie."

 

Hattori thought about the image he saw.

"Things seemed so peaceful...."

 

"I miss my family, Orpheus." Minato sighed, laying on the bed. Orpheus nodded. "I understand, lady Arisa."

 

Hattori walked back inside, keeping the image in the back of his mind.
