Hattori put his jacket on and followed her.

 

Ryoji and Teddie followed them to a large mansion. Minato looked around.

 

Hattori knocked on the front door.

 

Cara laughed, "Sky is persistent. I suppose he's still looking for Lesa after she left her family's noble house." She looked up at the mansion, "Hmm, reminds me of home."

 

Minato was expecting a butler to answer the door, instead it was a older woman. "Hello there, come on in. I just made some hot coco."

 

Hattori stepped inside.

 

Ryoji, Teddie, and Minato stepped inside and went to the parlor. Minato kept her hat on, Ryoji groaned and took her hat off. The woman gasped, "Minato, you're back."

"Hey, mom."

 

Cara followed them, "Wow. I haven't been in a mansion since I was a child." she thought for a while, "I guess I still kinda am." she giggled.

 

Hattori sat down in the parlor and sighed.

 

"This is Cara." Minato introduced her to her mother.

"Pleased to meet you. I'm Sakuya Kinomoto-Suzuhara, Minato's mother."

 

Cara suddenly felt underdressed, "Oh, nice to meet you ma'am. You have a lovely home and a very nice daughter. I'm grateful to her."

 

"I'm glad. Though she's the heir, she lived like a normal girl thanks to her father."

 

Cara sighed, "That's kind of him. My father tried a bit too hard to make my sister and I into proper nobelwomen. Maybe that's why Lesa rebelled against them."

 

"By the way, Mina-chan, what was your other self like?" Ryoji asked.


"A spoiled brat."

 

Cara laughed, "She sure was. Arisa pissed my sister off even before the rebellion. Not to mention me too." Cara's laughter subsided and she wandered through the house, finding a music room. She sat at the piano, "I've missed music..."

 

Sakuya and Minato followed her. "Minato, dear, would you play a piece? I suggest your father's favorite." Minato went to the piano and sat down, began to play.

 

Hattori listened as he sipped on a cup of cocoa.

 

"Suggesting my favorite piece sounds like you really missed me." A man appeared at Sakuya's side. "Hopefully, you and Hattori have been visiting mine and Tomoyo's graves."

"Yes, we have."

 

Hattori nodded and set his cup down.

 

Minato continued to play.
